A entirely inspired visual collage to this music-image that Warlock made. Edvard Munch? That dagger of sun through shadows and the thoughts of man and woman between... beautifully observed. Some sort of salvation for the agony expressed.

magnificent. never heard of heseltine before now, via stumbling on (-his arrangement of ?-) a brass quintet version of bartok's "hungarian pictures" ... this is remarkably transparent music...he's almost bartok/hollywood/purcell/milhaud in one package...thank you for posting this!
