Absolutely love this initiative! The 7-Day studio workout plan sounds like a game-changer for music producers. 🎶

What's cool about Friday is you can integrate Monday's task: you can remove plugins you discover you're not going to use.

Exactly!!! Didn't even think about it, thanks a lot for pointing that out :)

Thursday's is kind of weird, because in order to find a topic on mixing for the purpose of learning something new, you have to first know what it is you don't know.

This is one i would actually be careful with, as there is so much conflicting advice when it comes to mixing. I think it's important to 1st understand what makes a good mix, then you can find the producers who's sound you like and then try to study there mixing techniques, instead of learning a bunch of random techniques from a Metal/Punk Rock engineer if you make Deep House for example. This will help you work out what mixing techniques you need to focus on, to get the sound you like.🙂

Great video, just one small tip, the Fifine mic is very sensitive when you move your boom arm, we can hear the impact, 100% worth investing in a shockmount, and maybe because it's a dynamic mic would be good to turn it a bit towards you.

Great video, I think the only way to improve is to come up with a structure or routine/workout. I had made my own but it was kind of loose, this has given me some ideas to tighten it up and have specific days for sound design/sample searching. You have a great attitude, subscribed to watch your journey. 👍

Hahaha I KNOOOOOW! But I was having a migraine the whole day so no way I could film with low light... 😉 It was a good change!

Great video. But to be honest, I don't think you can claim that this will get you ahead of "99.9% music producers". Title feels a bit clickbaity to me

I mean, most producers don't consistently produce something daily. They talk the talk but don't put in the reps to get better and better. Most people aren't serious about their craft but they want to take their music career to a profitable level without putting in the hours and having something to organize you and have you dig in and work can help.

These practices if done even twice a month would have you continue progressing and stop stagnation

@hunteroverstreetnox Exactly WHY I put that in the title 😉 Most people don't practice daily so yes, it would make a massive difference so I stand by what I said in the title!
