Hi yes the percussion techniques do not require perfect or regular guitar technique - good luck 😎

I have a question when strumming like this is it the goal to hit all the strings like when you do e minor or e major

Loved it! I’m like: “I can do this!” Then I watch Marcin Patrzalek or Alexandr Misko and I’m like: “Nah, who am I kidding?”

I discovered the percussive technique on guitar when I was having a bad guitar day while practice, I got up frantically and the end of my guitar hit the coffee table very loudly, and I noticed how different the strings sounded. It was a bittersweet feeling, that new ding on my guitar and the new discovery.

i think its important to emphasize keeping a steady rhythm, dont try in incorporate abstract rhythms until you are very comfortable mixing multiple techniques together, i found that once i learned everything individually it was really easy to start augmenting them, i wished id started learning things in sequence XD

Hey man! I really like the lesson so far, really helped me alot in spicying up my playing! I'm quite fresh at playing guitar and all I did so far was strumming with open chords ( minor/major and 7) as well as Bar chords ( e and Em shape). At the moment I try to get into the a major and minor scale. Where do I start to move across the fretboard with different chords etc? And are there tapping exercises for the right hand? (Since it isn't very loud right now...) I'm really looking forward when I can dig the "Beat it" part to move on.

I've been doing this technique for about a year and now the little bumpy bone on my wrist on my right hand is twice as big as the one on my left hand... don't think taht's normal.

Another thing, it’s definitely possible to strum and hit the snare sound at the same time with the first technique if you just have your thumb extended and strum down with it, maybe just a tad bit uncomfortable though.
