I knew a beautiful place on the Creek that hardly anyone knew about. Someone wrote a book about it. 10 million people came and wrote their initials all over the cliffs and carved their names in the trees and left their used Pampers. A natural beauty can get stomped on pretty easy. Maybe he's being spared. Having wild animals befried you on their own in secret is higher then getting lots of credit for taming them.

I fell in love with Chris's music back when I got XM radio to have something besides CD's on those lonely trips from Salt Lake City to Lubbock and back. Man, how long ago has that been? Has to be close to 15 years ago now! It's a real shame they don't play this type of Americana music on country radio. Instead we get rock and roll with a fiddle and steel guitar thrown in. Who is it who decides who gets played on Country radio anyway?

Knight reminds of an earlier genre of outlaw singers who seemed to have stepped out of a time when the pained brooding of loss and anger were felt so strongly in their music that it almost seemed without effort for them to create what they already had lived ? Music that spoke volumes to listeners who could truly relate .It is it seems for men as Knight that he also has lived the experiences he shared with us to paper and from that comes the stories that we weave into our own lives so well !
