The cherry standard model is more fuller sounding the the maple top one. 😊

Cant go wrong with either one. Personally, I like the standard for the all mahogany body and slightly warmer tones it produces.The Vintage Cherry version looks the best to me, and allows the different peices of wood used in the construction to be seen easier. The 20% percent off sale going on this month was enough to trigger me into purchasing a fine example weighing 7lbs. 12ozs. I chose it not only for the light weight, but the grain patterns in the various peices of mahogany are the most consistent I've seen. No dark patches or contrasting shades meeting at any of the joints. Just long strait even grain, front and back, top to bottom.

I just received the flame maple top guitar . After a fairly quick set up after shipping, this plays ands sounds wonderful. The neck is a little chunky, which is my favorite.

I have a 2017 245. I have looked at the 594 and have a feeling that getting a new 594 is not going to sound like a big leap forward. If anyone has gone from 245 to the new 594 could they share their experience, please? I do not have a guitar shop anywhere near me and try to avoid a delivered doorstep disappointment. Thanks.

The flame maple top custom sounds a little brighter. I like the tone of the all mahogany standard a little better.

Was wondering whether to get one 2nd hand. Pretty nice. Then I went and played my Hagstrom Ultra Max . Even nicer. Fantastic sustain and pickups. So I will not be getting the PRS, lovely though it is. I recommend the viewers to check Hagstrom 6 string guitars. I do have a PRS SE Custom, so I'm not against PRS.

같은 세팅이라면 코어모델이 확실히 좀더 밝고 해상도가 좋은것 같긴 하네요. 근데 SE모델도 예전에 비해서 가격이 많이 올라서 그렇지 기본기는 워낙 좋은 모델이라 ㅎㅎ 그리고 사운드에 있어서 제일 중요한 데칼도 업그레이드 되었고...

The standard (red) is all-mahogany, the single cut (not standard) has a flamed maple /cap veneer.
