Regine is just very humble and down to earth, and very supportive of the current singers. But reality check: she is still the best singer the Philippines has ever produced. I think she said that in the context of comparing them two at present time. She's already 50 (or maybe 49 when she said that) and Kat is in her prime now. But during Regine's prime, she was a force to be reckoned with, unstoppable, and she set the standard so high.

Actually, Katrina and other artist here in PH are friends just like what Katrina said in one of her lives in YT she said "actually, all of us who are in the music industry are friends and it's only you 'fans' who are fighting with each other". I really salute Katrina because there are times that she will never sing a song that the other artist sang it already and make it their masterpiece to avoid comparisons.

Im a kv fan, but i admit that mori is more polished when it comes to characterizing her performances... mori is under the biggestnetwork in the philippines while katrina is a freelancer performer... abscbn artists have always been propped properly for audiences... and even coached constantly, kv didnt have those opportunities and thats why her biggest shortcoming is having a team to train her personality and stage characterization... but singing performance wise!? I think kv is far more explosive than most of networks artists... she only needs a little bit of push and confidence... but hey, she’s still my queen!!!

For me, FOR MEEEE... If I'll rate them being the best to least vocalist 4. Morisette/Jona 3. Regine 1. Katrina/kyla No offense, I love regine but let's not overrate her. She's iconic, a vocal beast but she's being praised mainly bc about her talent and being an inspiration to a lot of singers today including the four I just mentioned. But when you really try to learn each of them as a vocalist you'll know why. I love them all tho. When looking at their capabilities let's set aside personal choice, many people, sadly dislike katrina's tone but she is for me one of the best vocalist today. Morisette and Jona has a great voice quality, nice tone plus they're managed by a big company that's why they're on top now, well they deserve it tho but I just can't accept the fact that katrina is just so underrated.
