Filipino here and first time watching So Hyang. I prefer this over Regine's. More soul, vocal techniques, Clear vocals and range. even prefer this version than Mariah's and Morisette's. So hyang gave justice to this song.

I'm Filipino and I must say SoHyang is by far great in this performance. Her technique, her gospel style of singing, her soft tone to high notes, ugh, it's pure talent. Besides, she has a way more healthy technique because she doesn't strain her voice. I like her especially in singing this song, and also the rest of the songs she sang here on KZbin, because she can not only sing technically, but put her heart and soul while hitting the high notes. That's a fact other Filipinos must admit.

She's good but not perfect. There were sharp notes and screechy sounds when she tried to reach the high notes. And she doesn't have low notes. Her voice isn't that powerful, I bet if she has a concert and will sing more than 10 powerful and high belting songs, she won't even last half way through.

I don't care if somebody likes sohyang or regine cause everybody has the right to choose and I also don't care if the reason behind their preference includes nationalism. In fact I'd say it's fair to support their country's Singer just like we support our countries in a football match. However it's not right to say bad things about other country's singers just to make their singers supreme. There are people like them in every country but based on the comments I've seen a lot of Filipinos who does that here and it reminds me of my experience in the Philippines. I lived in the Philippines for a year to study English before I went to the US and I went to a private international school where a lot of kids were Filipinos although English was the common language in the school. I was just an elementary school student so I was indeed young but I was capable of knowing wrongs and rights and the Filipino kids were always making groups and called Koreans "onion smell" mainly to show their superiority and I considered their nature of wanting to be superior parallel between my experience and the comments. Oh and for ur information please go and take a look at a tiny little bit of statistics on the economy of Korea and Philippines before you try to act as if you are the superior country. I just have a pretty bad memory about the discrimination i experienced in the Phillipines.

She has a diff.kind of pitch and this song perfectly fits hers. Her advantage towards regine is the age and the musical arrangers...both are arranged differently so i don't think i cn actually compare both fairly and this song sends msg of divinity which favors So Hyang's voice quality. If they're of the same age, same musical arrangement of the the same song. I'll dig in to say things... But they're both delivered the song in a very unique appeal. And they're both amazingly heaven sent singers. I'm a filipino and a music enthusiast and I'm giving this to So hyang's with all the aspects I've said above. If both singers would sing this on the same stage and equal factors regardless of the age gap...then I'll sort of compare. Although age brings a different maturity to vocal cords. #justsaying ilove both so thankful to God they exist to give justice of these wonderful songs 🎧💓💘🎧

I am a Filipino and have watched the video a couple of times before and yes she was amazing. I personally liked it more than Regine's performance, but of course I am also a Regine fan, I think you have presented a video of Regine that was not that captivating. I know that there's a different version of that of Regine out there. Plus the fact that the attack was different. So Hyang's version was accompanied with a different "areglo" that made it more goosebumpy than Regine's. Maybe you should try comparing So Hyang to Morissette. Let's see who's better? Sorry folks, for me So Hyang won this round! 😀
