I’ve been constantly checking for reactions to this one. It’s definitely the best in this series. Samus did DOZENS of fills, and from what I can tell, all of them were different. He nails all the accents perfectly. As a fairly new drummer, this is SO inspirational for me. Thank you for reacting to it! Just subbed ❤

In case you didn't know, that drum kit is electronic. When I first saw the original video I wondered why there weren't any mics in the toms and the snare, I only found out why when I watched a reaction from a drummer in another channel. 🙂

They did this with Nandi Bushell she managed to get that song nearly right when they played the real drumming back at her. The bass playing Keyboard by John Paul Jones. The Drummer was John Bonham as was before the double peddle he used no shoes to use his foot and toes to make the kick faster.

@@johnterpack3940 I wasn't born when the song was recorded. Zeppelin isn't a niche band. Like in the grunge movement I wouldn't expect people to have heard the Gits' music but I would expect them to have heard Nirvana. The Gits are niche, Nirvana is not. But niche or not, yeah I would expect drummers to have heard the work of the some of the greatest drummers ever. I don't see how pro drummers (especially rock drummers) go on Drumeo or wherever and haven't heard Keith Moon or Bonham or Bill Ward or whoever. Maybe they don't seek out the greats for inspiration/influence. Idk.

@@rasicomega He's heard Zeppelin. Doesn't mean he knows every Zeppelin song. Yeah, they were niche. I was heavily into rock at the time and didn't even know they were still active. Only knew the 5-6 songs that were on the radio. KISS was a bigger band and I only know a few of their songs. It isn't hard to not know every song by even the biggest bands.
