I do think BTS not being in a genre box is one of the reasons why the fandom is so huge because there is something for everyone. Their music is an emotional roller coaster. Like one minute you are tearing up, next you are hype up. With BTS you don't know what sound you will get with their next album, it's a surprise every time and we love it. Plus the crazy part is sometimes when you first listen to one of their songs it sounds like a hype song but then you look up the lyrics it's actually a sad song with an upbeat sound. Also, even in 1 album, there is more than one genre sometimes, basically an emotional roller coaster because the first song is upbeat than in the middle you are tearing up then the last song is upbeat again.

The song is suppose to feel like they are running out of time, because the 'house of cards' is fragile and may fall anytime. Hence the ticking 'sound'. I really appreciate your professional comments on their music, most people do not realize that bts paints their songs depending on the message of the song.

3:02 jungkook actually does that “dub be dub dub be dub” you faintly hear in the background with the bass... definitely gives a jazzy vibe to it and it’s cool to see him do that live... just wasn’t expecting it from just listening to it. That’s something I really enjoy that jungkook does live... the ad libs become so much more live bc hearing them so much more clearly is always unexpected. It’s actually something bts as a whole does more than ive seen with other groups or bands... all of them are doing stuff like that to every song and it really just elevates live performances for me bc I always feel it brings more emotion out of the song .. no matter what kind of song it is, happy, sad, cheeky... I know I’m harping on about JK but ugh his adlibs have become something he is known for in the group and it’s more often than not just things he’s feeling recording the songs... if you saw how they recorded “in the soop” then you would understand since they did all that there in like 8 days from writing recording and producing the theme song? Something like that but it’s cool to watch them create bc they’re all SO passionate about music and all just have their own style

Most adlibs throughout the song pretty much used as instrument was actually Jimin. But almost all harmonies with others (and himself 🗿) was Jungkook. Except for JiKook doubling part since both are front vocals there.

@@sweetlover7448 I am only talking about what was reacted. Which is a studio version. Live version is pretty different. Live Jungkook does most ad-libs but that's also because majority are in general omitted. Still, it's both Jimin and Jungkook do live ad-libs, and then once again most harmonies are by Jungkook except the JiKook part.

Hmm. I love BTSs diversity! They make fusion music that keeps you wondering what's next. Which is a big reason their fandom is so loyal to them and their music. Because like you said BTS has music for just about every mood. So why listen to someone else?

Yes! I would love to see more artists genre cross, and I would love for their fans to just relax and chill out. Like let people express themselves, its not hurting anyone. Its what got me into BTS was their versatility. Like there is an odd song that I don't vibe with, but its not many. But I also love music and the emotion it evokes, so I'm usually down with any music that can pull that emotion outta me and feel it. I remember when Linkin Park started playing with genres....man the fans were so salty.

BTS are so known for their versatility that they are actually memes about, how artist from different entertainment companies have different styles from each other, like aomg are known for their hip hop, rap like YG, and SM known for their ballads and pop. Bts when making music just picks a music genre by playing darts, where it lands they make that genre of music. 🤣🤣🤣

BTS is not K-Pop which is true. They keep on evolving and that makes them very interesting. They produce songs that transcend different genres.... It's up to army to make aware what the reactor should react to!! I so agree with you that when it comes to BTS, the lyric that are always so meaningful & inspiring should be understood as well as always seeing live performances because when it comes to BTS they are even better seen live! Thier vocals at times sound even better!! He really needs to see more Jimin live performances! Sadly the inly one he saw so far was Filter from D-1 but with the way you closeup cam that didn't show Jimin's amazing dancing or the equally awesome choreo!! IHe didn't even see the eng subbed vid!! I'm agree with you on what you saying on minute 5:04 and 5:32 , BTS has a lot of various music and their genre is so much... I listen to their music whe i feel sad, happy, when I'm angry, when my anxiety hit me or when i need a comfort.... And yes i agree BTS is a genre.... My brother who's not an ARMY, BTS fan and just a casual listener, he really like listening to their music, in the car when he driving or when he just chillin.... Really enjoying your BTS reactions, thank you. HOC should be seen live though, the vocal line really shine, I’ll try to leave a link to my favourite performance, it’s House of Cards, live in Beijing (I’ll comment with the link), and as you will see, they are really quite young (it’s from July 2016, so Jk would be 19, and Jimin and Tae would still be 20, Jin would be still be 23. It’s towards the end of a (almost) three hour concert, they are clearly exhausted, yet - wow!
