This is one of her performances at the 2017 China "I'm a Singer" Contest for Asian Artists. Dimash was the youngest artist and won second place. I read that first place was reserved for a Mandarin Chinese-speaking singer and Dimash was Kasajo and did not speak the language of the contest. He sang about 12 songs that you can find on the web. Since that contest he became known around the world. The day after the contest was broadcast, 600 million people had seen it. Dimash sings in 13 languages including Mandarin Chinese which he is studying.

Thanks for this - so much fun. This was really to show his energy and relationship with his audience - singing wasn't the focus. You see all the other contestants in the back having fun too!! You mentioned MJ - Dimash loves MJ, later in the episodes he does a tribute to him and he also does them in his concerts!! Wait till next time - ep 6 is Adagio - hold on to your seat!!
