Also the only singer who could sing everything, rock, ballads, country, blues, gospel, soul even opera, and also the only singer who had hits in every musical style, also the only entertainer whose concert were always completely sold out. Just a brilliantly sung song that was inspired by that famous Martin Luther King speech ( I Have a Dream). This single vocal performance must stand out as one of greatest ever recorded. Elvis ...in my opinion is probably the best singer ever put on a stage and that's why he was called The King.

When Elvis heard this song he on stage he was having a problem with it. The man that helped Elvis with the 68 Special. Everyone had left by now, HE went up to talk to Elvis he said this is a big song. They kept talking trying to figure it out the guy said this is an emotional song.. Let's turn the lights down get comfortable let's do this.He turned the music on it played Elvis talked his self into this. The lights were so dark. Elvis curled his self up in a fetal position. Elvis sung that song like a pro. I love that Elvis never run from a challenge. He turned the lights on and Elvis was on the floor.. Much Respect too Elvis . The World still Loves Him. ♥👑👑♥

I read the comment many comments but Chloe comment really impress me she was 11 when he died that's pretty young she must have really got to know Elvis through his movies and her parents thanks to her parents because it's a cultural in enrichment I was born in 1952 I was little and I remember watching the teenagers go crazy over him. And I would like to share a little story with Khloe and whoever is interested. I really cannot remember how old I was my memories little Misty however I was pretty young and I had a little plastic record player which could play 45 it was blue and cream color and I remember my dad had a jukebox Box Vending Company in the south. And sometimes he would bring home extra records that were not put in those jukeboxes the various nightclubs. He handed me one and I put it on my little plastic record player and at this point I have never heard of Elvis Presley the title of the song was Love Me Tender and after I heard it I remembered it engendered a sense of romance in me all the way to my soul. Up until that point I have only known the love of parents but this night it was like an introduction to a different kind of love a sense of romance in my heart and in my soul and this 41 never left me. I went and I told my dad about this song. And I remember him saying oh my God you too. So I asked him what do you mean and he said this is Elvis Presley A New Sensation is the music industry. However I felt like I discovered Elvis first because I did not that he he was famous all I knew is I love this voice and his essence reached and touched me in such a unique way and this touch never left me

This song, "If I can dream" was Elvis' deeply felt and cry out in response to The assassination of Dr.Martin Luther King, Jr. in Memphis, as well as that of U.S. Senator Robert Kennedy, affected Elvis Presley deeply. Oh yes, this is one of Elvis’ best songs, in my opinion, written as his tribute to Martin Luther King, after his senseless assassination in 1968. Elvis was very upset over the death of MLK. This song shows off Elvis’ vocal range to perfection, & that rasp in his voice is pure magic. Thank you for a great Reaction.

Speechless after hearing and seeing him feel the words so profoundly. The voice is off the charts. Thank you for the video. Moves one to tears.
