Elvis had an anointing from the Lord Jesus.. He always remembered where his gift came from. As he always remembered where he came from and grew up to become such a special person. He went home at a young age but he left for everyone to enjoy is such a treasure..

He caresses the lyrics, delivering the message of both prayer and hope, he,s singing from his soul, the words are clearly moving and uplifting him, gospel was his calling no doubt about that. The arrangement and the backing vocals adding an extra depth and feeling to this beautiful religious song. John your reaction is a joy to see, you looked visably moved by this beautiful performance.

As an aside a track that many Elvis fans miss and goes under the radar is 'So Glad You're Mine' from early 1956 which IMHO can rival anything he produced in the 1950's .

What a powerful song ...Elvis sings it so simple, yet the power comes through loud and clear. Everyone needs to KNOW that we all need God to stand by us or we truly do stand alone.
