The only way I can describe Elvis songs is that they're so powerful they go right through you, and on the way they touch your heart and your very soul. When you hear an Elvis aong it usually stays with you for a very long time and you always want to hear more. Most of us fans can't ever get enough. I've probably heard every Elvis song at least a hundred times over, but when it's played again, it's almost like I'm hearing it for the very first time. Elvis is truly timeless and it's all kinda weird how much his music affects you...Weird but always GREAT !

Hi John I love your sincere reactions to Elvis. This song, Thrill of Your Love was recorded 3/4 April 1960, the same session that produced It’s Now Or Never, Elvis’ smash hit. What’s even more remarkable Elvis recorded the master in one take, after a rehearsal and a short false start. Quite amazing given his absence from the recording studio while he was in the US army. The recording session took place in RCA Studio B in Nashville.

Once you become an Elvis fan you'll be hooked for good. I try to compare some of the greatest vocalists of all time Roy Orbison , Bon Jovi , etc. and I just can't get my ears around them and I start listening to Elvis again simply because he is the best no one can match his talents. Simply perfection cannot be improved.

Nice comments. I've been an Elvis fan for over 65 years . This is on one of my very favourite albums . I don't know if it's an age thing but his beautiful ballads move me to tears some times . They are just beautiful. My wife who is not an Elvis fan says . Elvis put so much feeling into his songs as if he is singing about himself. So very true.

Hi John, Carole again, the French Canadian from Ottawa Canada...love your reaction to this song as there really are no words to describe it. I really thought that it was a Gospel song, which I love by ELVIS, but it was also a love song. He could sing anything at all...rock, soul, Gospel, Love songs and every other type there is. He is very hard to put into a "box" when it comes to his voice. No matter what anyone says, he was and still is the greatest. I have been waiting 61 years to hear someone who comes close....sorry.....not happening. When speaking of men, he not only had the voice of a KING but he had the looks to go with it. How many are out there with his vocal capabilities and the looks of a Greek God...I still have not seen anyone of that caliber. I would encourage everyone to look up the word 'Wow' in the dictionary....You just might find Elvis' picture there ...And if it isn't there, cut a little picture of Elvis out of a magazine and paste it there, because that's where it belongs.

JOHN read this ..... THE PROBLEM WITH MAKING A LIST OF YOUR ELVIS "S TOP SONGS .... You really need to play these two at the bottom of this message .... As most people have not heard them but it will be worth it .... All you Reaction video people are playing the same songs over and over and that's OK .... It's Elvis.... But he did a-lot more than 5 or 6 songs .... He recorded exactly 769 of them .... And he does not have to belt them out every time as his Charisma is addicting in itself.... So Please add these new one's to that list ..... Cause remember .... Here is the problem with trying to have a favorite listing of Elvis's .... HERE IS THE PROBLEM WITH MAKING YOUR FAVORITE SONGS LIST OF ELVIS'S You'll find that if you make a list of your favorite Elvis songs in running order from 1 to 769 .... Put it down on paper .... You would have it made ... However .... As you listen to more Elvis songs ....You'll soon find out that you need to move a few around .... As you will soon find out that after a few other songs go by .... You'll change a few again .... Just because .... Well .... They'll just fit better if you do a new line up That's all .... Simple RIGHT .... However you'll soon find out that after a few other songs you play he did go by .... You again will have to move a few around to fit your new line up .... OK All set .... NO WAIT .... WAIT .... There is this one song that will not leave your head .... Of course no list is correct without making sure it all fits your .... Let's say at the beginning ....1- 50 list as a good start out of the exactly 769 songs Elvis recorded .... For your favorite's list .... AT-LEAST FOR NOW .... RIGHT .... However .... To save some time on this list thing you're doing ....You'll want to shorten it to maybe your favorite 10 list .... As it should be easy to do 10 .... I mean after all he is only human .... I mean all his songs can't be that good .... RIGHT .... You should be able to get this done over let's say a weekend .... HELL .... That should be EASY to Do .... After all you're just trying to list songs he did for {CRIME AND ITALY} .... Shouldn't be that hard .... So you say to yourself .... Easy .... I'll do it over the weekend .... But then the weekend comes and goes by so fast .... Although you tried many times to get it done .... At the last minute you realized .... It just doesn't line-up right .... So you continue to try to put this list on paper .... This dam list 1 through 10 .... Big deal Should be easy .... But different songs keep coming back in your mind and throws it all off again .... So you end up listening to more songs of Elvis's .... While you're doing your list as it seems you just for the life of you .... Can't seem to stop listening to this ....This .... This ....This Insane man singing his ass off on every song .... And if it is a video ... CRAP .... Now you're really in a spin .... As you start to realize you'll never be able to make a perfect list from one to 769 at this rate .... As Elvis is singing in your ear making your moods change .... Then of-course your rhythm goes off .... Then he screws with your style .... And Elvis's ability to make you feel the song .... As if he was singing it as you would sing it .... { IF YOU COULD SING LIKE HIM } .... HOLY CRAP .... He just will not give you a break .... Sing .... Sing .... Sing .... Dance .... Dance .... Dance ....Is that all that man can do .... Sing .... Sing .... Sing .... Dance .... Dance .... Dance ... I mean He gets in my head and I can't get him out of there .... So I play those songs in my head and then of course some more get into my head .... So I play them thinking this will help fix it .... So I can get my First 10 in order .... But then you have more pour in your head .... I MEAN IS THAT ALL THAT MAN CAN DO IS SING .... SING .... SING .... Dance .... Dance .... dance .... HOLY CRAP .... And I still have to get my list together .... HEY .... I know what I will do .... I will do a list of my 5 favorite songs of his as that will be easy to do .... 5 favorite songs that way I get started the easy way .... Just 5 .... I can do that standing on my head .... And I will have a start on my 769 favorite song list of Elvis's .... RIGHT .... But you're thinking to yourself .... Hope to hell I can get a list of even 5 favorite songs .... This guy is killing me .... Every time I decide yes this is it .... Then nope it's not .... I hear more songs of his .... Even then I can hear the same song .... I heard before but a different recording time and so then it throw's it all off again .... Face it .... He is the person that left the world his gift for all to see and hear .... Elvis was a very humble man with Lighting and Thunder in his veins .... love in his heart .... Music in his soul .... Set to be the Entertainer of forever ....To share his God given gift with whoever wanted to see and hear him in the world ....The Answer is you can't make a top 10 or even a top 5 list ....You can only flip from one song to another ....
