There will always be people who come to reactions to see someone completely praise a song whether honest or not. While I may not have enjoyed this one as much as a lot of people, there was much more positive comments from me than negative. We can dislike something and still find the greatness in it. That may disappoint some of you and that's totally fair. Music is subjective and that's what makes it great. Loved the passion and composition in this one and Ronnie's voice is haunting. I made sure NOT to hate on the song but focus on the positives whilst still giving my honest opinion. Love the understanding from those of you and hope to see y'all in the next FIR reaction.

Dude. I really love your reaction!! You were openly honest with your opinions but still spoke of all your positives you liked about it! And i thought it was absolutely neat how you broke down the track and seperated it so we could hear the layers!! Amazing!! Im subbing for the depth you put into this! Thank you! And i think that the autotune definitely wasnt necessary, he does ballads live and can hit the notes, so i wish it was a little more his raw vocals in spots like you said.. Emotion can sometimes skew or bias an opinion. Much like Linkin Park did, the original got me through a LOT of rough times. So I'm maybe a bit biased? And the lyrics were well known by me back then. But this song does push them out to the forefront for sure.

Being 100% honest, don't be afraid of FiR fans (or fans in general) judgement. You expressed a lot of love for how this version is. Like I said in another comment, all of their Reimagined/Revamped version are very peculiar, and if they do not match your tastes, that's just perfectly fine. Everybody should just show respect for the passion you show while analyzing all of these tracks. Again, loved the technical aspect of your reactions and loved even more the emotional aspect of them. The other one did that though. But some people deal with trauma in different ways. For me sadness didn't come until recently in my life. Anger is how I dealt with the pain being portrayed in the lyrics so I personally feel that one is more accurate. But that's what's great about music is everyone can interpret things differently and resonate with different things. This one vocal performance is unprecedented and the composition is impeccable.

This young man comes very close to Chester Bennington. As with Chester, you can feel the pain in his scream. LP should get him and work with him. He sings like an angel and screams like the devil. Just great 🖤🎧 Just like him, you feel the pain because he transports it authentically. Just great, can't get enough. I think he would be a worthy successor to Chester and could revive LP. Nobody can replace Chester, but this young man is damn close. He gave me goosebumps like only Chester could. A Masterpiece ❤

I think they are very different. Chester has a unique way of singing were good clean vocals still had a hint of fry. And he has a great range. Ronnie can indeed sing soft and harsh vocals. And sing harsh vocals and make each one sound very different. But no one could sound like Chester. But I agree talent wise he's closest.

You spent the majority of the video complimenting Ronnie/Falling in Reverse for the emotion, his singing ability and the cinematography only to make a comment like "their stuff doesn't always need to be thinking outside of the box (8:13), stating the more classical instruments being added to a rock song has "been done before, we've seen it before" but then state its ok to stick to their niche and what they've done before and that you didn't necessarily want to see that stuff here in this song.... Seems like you're just looking for reasons to not like this and you're all over the place....
@mcflyjp
@mcflyjp Жыл бұрын
I'll give you the all over the place. As my anxiety ridden over-analytical brain does that constantly. My point was FIR as of late rides on doing things in a different way and genre bending, which is what we've grown accustomed to from them. Mixing rock HipHop and metal into one song. But every band has done a rock or pop ballad in the history of the world and that THAT is nothing new. Then I went on to talk about the positives I see and what differentiates this song from the other pop ballads. Was actually looking for positive things to say even though it may not have been my favorite song. But people see negative comments and assume I just want to hate on it. No. I waned to talk about the great things about the song. While this was emotional it didn't have the same effect on me as the original. Maybe that's unfair considering this is kind of its own entity but it's sometimes hard to separate covers from their original for me.
@jameslofton3342
@jameslofton3342 Жыл бұрын
I feel like it's pretty easy to understand what he was saying. He personally wanted to see their outside the box songs like they've been doing recently. But noted that it's ok if they steer away from that from time to time as every band should do that. And he personally feels pop Ballads are overplayed especially these over produced pop melodies. While I'm also disappointed he didn't like it he still had a lot of positive stuff to say about it.
