Joe's always been a good guy. I remember back in '85 he hosted a show called "Rockline" where he interviewed himself. In that "interview", he said that he was the only member to have not left The Eagles. "I am the Eagles!" he proclaimed. Love that guy. He's a pretty nifty guitar player, too. Love your channel!

Joe Walsh was well established WAY BEFORE the Eagles...the James Gang in 1969 -71 and they were fire - Funk #49, Walk Away...solo career from 1972 onward...joined Eagles in 1976 and only on their last 2 albums. Life's Been Good from 1978 is a radio classic still to this day and his most famous song. Check out the The Confessor from 1985...long song but it is a masterpiece! He gave Jimmy Page a Starburst Les Paul as a gift and Jimmy used it all the time and Pete Townsend said in 1970 Joe was the best American guitarist on the planet.

This is Joe Walsh's jam! So, f%ck what dipshlt Don has to say. Sorry, but Henley's an arrogant, pompous prick who needs to get with the program already, it's a different game we're playing today. I get it & understand an artist wanting to protect their own original work & safeguard their intellectual property. But the tech world drastically changed the game in the music business industry. Just saying... ✌️😜

Steve you have to , like..HAVE TO listen to the first 3 James Gang LP's " Yer Album ", " Rides Again " and " Thirds ", Live in Concert is cool too. " Funk 49" "Woman" "The Bomber" " Tend My Garden" " Ashes the Rain and I", " Funk 48", " Fred ", " Take A Look Around", " Walk Away" " Things I Could Be" so many blastin bangers. His solo LP's had some winners but he was at his best with the Gang ! Eff the Eagles anyway.

Eagles' music always grabs you right away. Good stuff! Home Free did a cover of "End of the Road." I'm not sure, but I think it has been cleared of copyright problems. There was a bit of time a couple of years back, when some strikes were happening, but Home Free was able to convince YT that all was OK. The real problem had been the cover's producers at the time, which HF no longer uses, for just such reasons. Thanks for this reaction, Steven. Great job! 😀

You know take the music away and it’s awesome story and that’s the way all his songs are. And on top of it the music tells a story of its own , and I think it was behind the music on vh1, they would experiment with crazy things like taking a keyboard ,guitar or a bass and run them into 4 or 8 channel mixer with a guitar head and a bass cabinet sometimes running up to 8 pedal effects at the same time into one head, as a guitarist I would’ve hated walking into their studio when they was doing that, that could’ve been a horrible day if you was hungover.😂

🌸 an FYI it's not the Eagles that try to copyright and block people- it's DON HENLEY. he's a real piece of work sadly.

@@hopeklemann1 Well, if ask dipshlt Don's opinion about the Eagles. Don Henley & Glenn Frey were the Eagles according to those 2 arrogant pompous pricks, period. I understand they were the 2 main song writers in the group. And I also get an artist wanting to protect their own original work & safeguard their intellectual property. But still calm down nit picking every little thing someone does related with one of the Eagles tunes already, WTF-OVER! I'd might feel the same way of wanting a cut of the profits if another music artist covered one of their songs & it blew up making thousands or millions of dollars on it. However, I think it's BS for dlckhead Don to hassle someone for so little who continues to keep the Eagles music alive by spreading the vibe of Eagles songs to the younger generations. I mean it's basically almost free marketing advertisement that Don doesn't have to spend a single cent on. Just saying... ++Peace & Rock n' Roll 4 Your Soul My Friend++ 🤘😜🤘

@@216Numbskull totally totally agree with you! in my humble opinion, having music reactors react to your music is a compliment and it just brings more people of more generations to awareness of your music! really disappointing that they can't see that that Don Henley can't see that or chooses not to or whatever the fuck is wrong with him

I'm glad you mentioned the restrictions on the Eagles! I have a Karaoke channel on KZbin and every time I've done an Eagles song, a majority of the time, they got blocked. A friend of mine and I used to do covers on his KZbin channel, and we did a Don Henley song that they gave him a strike for. It really stinks that you can't pay homage to certain groups. Led Zeppelin is another one. I did a cover of Immigrant Song that got immediately blocked, and they sent me an email saying that nobody would be able to watch it. I can understand if you're stealing songs and claiming they're yours, but I never claim that they're my songs. I always mention who did them and where they came from, but it doesn't matter. It's really kind of frustrating!
@setonhillstudios4 ай бұрын
I agree! I don’t understand it. They could claim it, get the ad revenue, and continue to get their music out to a younger generation! 🤷🏻♂️ Doesn’t really make much sense to me!

@@setonhillstudios A good buddy of mine Mark has been Joe's guitar tech for over 30 years now & still presently today. So, I've been fortunate to sit down & break bread in conversations with Joe quite a few times over the years. IDK if there's any concern's with the record label in Joe's solo career. But, I highly doubt you have anything to worry about with Joe at all my friend. Joe don't roll like that, Joe's just loves playing his guitar's & jammin' in a band, period. I truly feel Joe said it the best himself. "I'm Just An Ordinary Average Guy." However, you should be concerned with anything having to do with the Eagles. I would just stay away from even bothering with any of their songs if I were you. Don Henley's a greedy, arrogant, pompous prick who has always been a complete dipshlt.
