It means non-binary, pronouns they/them and they said that they don't mind she/her but don't like it. Their mom was an opera singer but their dad was a lawyer. LP was classically trained too.

LP wrote it! She has written songs for many folks like Cher & Christiana Aguilera. Her mother is an opera singer & LP studied opera for awhile. She’s pure Amazing Genius!

LP is an Amazing artist. Love all their music. As others have noted LP was not born male so that can account for their higher vocal quality. But still very different and unique compared to most female born artists. Would love for you to react to more of their music. “Into the Wild” and “Tightrope” are a couple suggestions b HOWEVER, Loïc Nottet was born male and their vocals are absolutely stunning and equally as high and beautiful. She did a live concert in Philadelphia and the entire concert is on utube. The last song she does Lost on You and the audience goes wild. Seriously fabulous.
