The way I think of it, 'when it's goodness I play, I get checkmate' means that when the character tries to be good, he ends up being taken advantage of. So he hurts them, before they can hurt him. I used to know someone like that. He would try to hide his bad side, but it would always eventually come out. Thank you for the reaction. Of all the times he has performed this song, I think this is the best one. Absolutely brilliant job. And the song itself is fantastic. It was composed by Igor Krutoi and Lara Fabians to a whole album Mademoiselle Zhivago. According to Wikipedia; "in 2013 the musical feature film "Mademoiselle Zhivago" was published. The 52 minute film, starring Lara Fabian herself in the main role and Max Barskih in the biggest supporting role, features all songs of the Mademoiselle Zhivago album."

The effects just happen, it was part of the package plan from God. At some point Dimash thought hey this effect would sound great here and it happens. Are you saying the flutes are not flaunting but are flattering the score? Is it just me or are the tones in his upper range getting rounder, more full? They just sound different to me. Oh well, another great job you two. You guys are perfect for this stuff.
