Their new album Troubleshooting is probably their best work yet (literally all of the songs are amazing). My personal fav song from that album (and them in general) is Money On My Mind, but the title track, Little Things, is also great. They have some really amazing vocalists, so I recommend live performances. They do some minding blowing covers on the show Immortal Songs that are worth a listen if you love good vocals. As far as instruments go the drummer went to Berklee and was actually kind of popular on KZbin for drums. The lead guitarist is also very talented. (the others are good of course)

Thanks for checking xdinary heroes out! xdinary heroes is a k-band! I like to describe their genre as pop punk rock. Too polished to be punk rock, too unconventional to be pop rock and too hard to be pop punk. They're like a three way hybrid. But their vocals are what really got me interested in them. I've been watching them since debut and they definitely deserve more recognition! Some song recommendations: pirates(live), strawberry cake, freakin bad, good enough (a slow one), test me, Pluto, Man in a box, break the brake and many more! Not to mention they have an amazing non-skipable discography! Also they have done some amazing covers like impossible by nothing but thieves, drown by bring me the horizon, tomboy by g-idle, love me right by exo, zombie by day6, hellavator by skz, mother's heart in Seoul by patty kim (one of my favs),black parade by my chemical romance and many more. These boys are insanely talented! They recently made a comeback and honestly the album is too good!! Literally zero skips for me!! It'll be cool if you can check them out!! 🩷

Omg I love their unique style and the beat is so catchy. This is the type of music I'm in love with unique and quirky and I only the first 5 seconds of it and I knew I'd love I qnd I'm a massive villian aka fan since this debut. It's everything I've been asking for from a band. This band just keep on getting better and better with every new release. I wish more people will get to know them! The 6 members: GUNIL ('98) - Leader / Drummer / Sub-vocalist (does not have much lines as it's very hard to sing while drumming; he majored in drums at Berklee College of Music) / JUNGSU ('01) - Keyboardist / Main Vocalist (bright, light yet piercing tone; uses more of mix chest & head voice) GAON ('02) - Rhythm Guitarist / Vocalist / Rapper (he has this unique singing style I can't describe; improved a lot this comeback) ODE ('02) - Synth player / Vocalist / Rapper (he's so versatile; it's like he knows how to play with his voice; also improved a lot this comeback) JUNHAN ('02) - Lead Guitarist / Sub-vocalist / Sub-rapper (minimal lines also but he often sings through his guitar; he does this insane guitar solos-riffs) JOOYEON ('02) - Bassist / Main Vocalist (full, warm yet darker tone; uses most of his chest voice; definitely has a rock-ish style of singing)

Their earlier stuff is really much more pop-influenced, specifically the very noise music style of kpop that their label mates Stray Kids have mastered. First 2 albums Hello World and Overload are all quirky, fun songs that play around a lot with structure and playful vocals. With the 3rd album Deadlock there's a lot more variety, with their first slower ballad-like songs (Good Enough is legit one of the most beautiful songs ever) and the title track having a lot more obvious influence from classic rock and hair metal. I think they really found their sound with the next album Livelock though. It's their most cohesive of the minis, but far from boring, and you can hear all sorts of rock influcences from punk to ska to alternative and the title track Break The Brake is by far their heaviest one so far. And you discovered them at a perfect time bc they just released their first full length album Troubleshooting and this truly feels like it represents the members. They were much more involved in the writing and production this time. Every single song is very much a rock song, still with their usual myriad of other influences peeking through but I feel like they're declaring themselves to be a rock band for the first time with this album rather than a kpop band. Fun facts about the band: - The drummer and leader Gunil moved to the US with his family in middle school, so he's fluent in English and actually went to Berklee College of Music as a drum major. - Gunil used to have a youtube channel where he posted drum covers, which is how he was scouted by Studio J, and one of other members Gaon used be a subscriber and big fan of Gunil's videos so when they met as trainees he felt like he was already meeting a celebrity. - 2 of the members, Jungsu and Ode, originally wanted to be idols. They both joined JYP around the same time and spent a year learning how to dance and sing before being moved to the band project. They are both still big fans of kpop music and occasionally do dance covers on tiktok or instagram. - The only member who never really sings is Junhan, the lead guitarist. But fans like to say that he sings with his guitar, and he does chip in for harmonies and effects-type vocals like whispers and such. - In the behind-the-scenes for the recording of their latest album, the producers they work with said they have the best vocalists in the company. One of the main vocalists Jooyeon has said he really wants to learn how to properly metal scream, and we've gotten to see hints of his progress on that in their last couple albums. this is gonna be ALOT. first of all thank u very much for checking tehm out they're actually criminally underrated. i HIGHLY recommend checking out more of their stuff cuz on one hand they have a very uniqe sound n stay themself but they also experiment with all kinds of diffrent genres and do well with each one. 2. the drummer(gunil) is leader n doesnt sing very often cuz its hard at the same time but sometiimes he opens a song or sings in the break cuz his voice is actually also great, then theres a bassist(jooyeon) with one of the most incredible n stable voices who can go extremly high n low, one keyboardist(jungsu) with a beauteful uniqe tone n unbelieveble range, a synthethiser/keyboardist(o.de) with great raspy voice for singing and rapping, an rythmic guitarist(gaon) with beautil tone and great raps n vocals and an acoustic/lead guitarist(junhan) with AMAZING guitar solos n some little sinigng parts. for songs i obv i recommend their title tracks like "test me" the first comeback which has a very fun mv, "hair cut" which has a lot more serious vibes, "freakin' bad" shows their rapping skills n guitar solo, "break the brake " has more of a noise rock vibe and in their latest comback "little thing" has more of a idk emotional or pop rock vibe. what i recommend highly are their b-sides though since they have not a single bad song. they got more hard core screaming songs like "sucker punsh", "crack in the mirror", "bad chemical", "come into my head", "bicycle", "paint it"(personal fav), "undefined" and "no matter". with "moneyball" they even went into a metal kind of sound. they also have more melodic songs like "paranoid", "pluto", "dear h", "good enough", "until the end of time" or "again? again!" and "dreaming girl". lastly they js have crazy beats n songs that are weird af but hit hard. "pirates", "x-mas", "ghost", "lunatic", "checkmate", "man in the box", "enemy", "walking to the moon", "money on my mind"(incredible guitar solo) and "night of fireworks". fr lastly their craziest songs "strawberry cake"(has mv n still one of their most famous songs", "zzz...", "knock down", "freddy" and "wego wego"(ost for a drama actually). all in all they have a rather alternative punk n progressive rock style. they ALSO do lots of covers(which they always eat up) like "hellavator"(originally skz), "tomboy"(originally gidle), "zombie"(originally day6) and "welcome to the black parade". so basically i recommend everything but i wanted to give u this as an idea. it rlly was a lot sry.

I love that you reacted to xdinary heroes! they're so much fun and they're so damn talented. their leader gun-il (the drummer) studied at berkerly before he was in the band, so they have some musical theory involved in their songwriting, which usually shows in their unique style. I think I've liked every single song I've heard from them, but my favs are Pluto, Hair-cut, Enemy, and the very very amazingly sad and well written "good enough". You can't go wrong!

If you want different types of bands, I’d suggest you to react to the fellow; LUCY! they’re absolutely different from other bands. Their leader is a violinist, which makes them stand out. my favourite songs by them are never in vain & fill it up! My absolute favourite band is n.flying. I think their songs moonshot, rooftop and blue moon would be an amazing introduction. they also have a calmer vibe in most of their songs, but then there are their silly songs like hot potato and the real while typing this, I thought of another band with a different vibe. bursters! they are a korean metalcore band and have quite a few nice songs. lost child and colors are probably the most popular. oH and if you want a girl band, rolling quartz would be amazing. let me stop though, I originally only wanted to suggest lucy 😂
