I was slipping away, that's what it felt like, life was leaving me, but I wasn't afraid; then I remembered: "There was something I was meant to do; somewhere I was meant to be."

I love to listen to this beautiful music. I lost my wife to cancer and my oldest brother to ALS, and this music helps me. It makes me feel good. I meditate and find a connection with them both when I hear this music. I know that they are in glory and one day I shall see them again. Thank you for posting this amazing piece of music. BTW, the movie was great as well.

I am sorry for your sorrow. And happy for you, that you are, also, blessed. I know people who feel (probably) worse than you without ever having lost anyone... simply because they are unable to feel Beauty like you do. It is the greatest gift there is (I realised that only recently). This isn't meant to console you. I was just touched by your comment and wanted to wave to you. That's all.

This movie broke my heart. After watching it I could hardly breathe, it made a huge impact on me. For days after watching it, I thought about it a lot. I couldn't stop feeling it.

Highly recommend the book, although it will be even more hard to shake off. The first chapter is very gruesome and not at all like the movie though, so keep that in mind.

Brian Eno did not sleep on this soundtrack. It’s so ethereal and haunting. I think about it often as someone who loved the book The Lovely Bones. This music captured the beautiful but also unsettling feeling I had after I finished reading it.

all this music that exists in this world, all these huge artists and popular tracks, and still the most beautiful piece of music ever created is hiding unnoticed in this written-off movies... it's incredible to think about. I don't think anything could ever emulate what this track conveys.

THE TWO NOTES that are heard throughout the song are interesting, and I wondered what they meant...until now. I was floating in a swimming pool, ears underwater, and slowly, casually breathing in and out, I could hear what that sounded like: breathing IN had the tone of the higher first note, while breathing OUT had the tone of the lower second note. I did that for awhile to confirm. If I am relaxed, listen carefully, and casually breath in and out it makes those two notes most of the time. THOSE ARE BREATHING TONES, WOW!

Piece: 3M5 (Extention), by Brian Eno. It's the perfect expression of the moment slipping into death. Seriously, this piece wrote is just very difficult. I'm very surprised how could Brian to express of these mental images by this music.
