Which one you want? The Portuguese Guitar or the Brazillian Viola Caipira? They both have 10 strings, but are acoustic instruments. If I recall correctly, Brazillian guitar brand Giannini also has an electric version of the 10 string viola caipira.

The Portuguese Fado *guitars* because there are actually 3 types of them, all different from each other in tuning, sound and timbre. ; )

I believe that Dave Mustaine had a BC Rich 10 string guitar in the late 80s I have also seen some pictures of it

yeah...he stole it from a guitar shop in the late 70's.. he used it in Metallica. Its a Rich Bich Perfect Ten. Suzi Quatrro, She played a Bass Bich and her band played Perfect Ten's.Theyre visible in the video Rock Hard.

I think the sound of the first one is decent at best and the design of it looks like it was taken from the scrap pieces of wood that were laying around, a pickguard found in the back, and the person that chose the color was colorblind
