She’s just amazing and I love her work ethic and how she makes her songs. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND watching her dvd Making of Elipse (her album she was making ). It’s soo inspiring. The work from beginning to end of her songs and the album. A must for any imogen heap fans ❤

Fascinating. Heap mixes in a similar way to me. She works in terms of "balances". So she'll work on a sound by separating it's constituent parts (Sub, Baritone, Mids, Harmonics, colour, etc) or she'll create a bouquet of contour by sculpting sounds until dissonant & discorded & place them low in the mix, so they affiliate the next & more dominant textures to create a new sound altogether. And depending on the volumes it will come out differently. Would love to meet for a coffee & talk moozic! =)
