@@sub-jec-tiv I'm sure they can do it but they don't want to do it so as not to cannibalize their Octatrack, a lousy product that should be withdrawn from the market by now (or perhaps never existed) due to its very bad audio and worse user interface. I am considering buying this little sampler as a stereo expansion for my Digitakt

@@liantrosretrospectiva4134 Bwahaha, it's funny to meet one of those 'the Octatrack sounds bad' people in the wild. It sounds exactly the same as the samples you put in you dummy! Make sure timestretch is off and there are no EQs or filters on the track. If you can't figure out how to use the Octatrack then fair enough but it's not the box, it's you mate. 🤣

@@MStimming it seems that the real answer is something between you and me : the device can play stereo samples just if you load into the slice/clip pad. The FM pads load stereo samples but mix both channels into a mono one. A shame

Hiya! To adjust the levels use the top dial in the pan menu mode or you can adjust from individual instrument when you're in the filter/decay menu. Love your stuff Stimming.

It's interesting that some complain about missing song mode in some machines. I personally don't know any people using song mode within their Groove boxes or samplers. Anyway, the Blackbox has high quality fx and a song mode too at least the possibility to automate pattern chains which is basically the "same" thing.

@@musictalk-tech the fx was very basic compared to a sp mk2 or mpc one, and you can use pad mutes for most song modes but blackbox didn’t have proper pads, only thing I liked about it was it was built like a tank. And could stream from sd, but there are way better samplers out with way better fx sections. it felt really basic the clip like sequences I didn’t mind but to perform with them was frustrating and timing ⏱️ them wasn’t fluid
