@@IRONSILVER22 I suppose we both like looking at synth videos in that case. 😀After listening a bit more to Opsix videos, I decided buying an Elektron Digitone instead, which was what I was about to when the OpSix was announced. The Opsix sounds very harsh and grating to my ears, making me think its oscillators might be wavetable as it's similar to how I perceive the sound from other wavetable synths, such as the Hydrasynth, the Modal Cobalt and Argon. It's a bit of a shame as I otherwise love the sonic possibilities, the look and user interfaces of all of them, but since my ears are super sensitive - presumably to the differently-sized aliasing you get when wavetables are multiplied, divided, added or subtracted together - I simply can't listen to them for more than half a minute. Anyway, you have a great autumn too, and enjoy watching more synth videos.

@@hakonsoreide Yeah same here, nothing especially caught me ear with the op-six. Have you heard Espen Kraft's newer video about the Kawai K3m? 🤯 It sounds soooo goooooood. That and Eagle Child's latest Kawai k4 Demo... so tasty. Not sure if its your bag since they probably both alias, but I highly recommend checking them out. Don't want to toot my own horn but you might dig the SONICWARE XFM vids by Chris Lody as well :D

@hakonsoreide4 жыл бұрын
You can't please everyone - which is why they have opted for what will reach the biggest part of the market. Desktop Modules don't sell anywhere near as well as 37-keyboard synths, and a 61-key model would have been pushing £900. Creating multiple models right away also makes for a far bigger up-front cost to Korg. If it does well (and it will), there probably will be a module some day.

Hey Uejii, could you use the Virtual Patch to modulate the Filter cutoff on the Saw Operator with the Envelope? For each of the operators in a different way? Maybe that would be too much, but it would make it a virtual analog synth as well as FM beast. Also, with the additive waves and the sliders controlling the operator volumes, you could have a pretty cool clonewheel organ patch too (if you use 1 +5 on one operator, and maybe 1+2 on another one which you pitch up a fifth, for example. If it has a Rotary effect that is.) (Or invite Lester!) I love the music you did at the beginning, as always! Greetings from NYC.
