@roshaunsingh5 ай бұрын
Just like how someone who doesn't speak a lick of english can sing an english track like it's natural, is the same way an introvert can perform like an extrovert. Most introverts have the ability to "appear" outgoing when they want to but would have a hard time trying to maintain that facade throughout daily life on a consistent basis.

What Andre said drove the point home. Basically 'normal minded' people can't take the amount of attention that fame comes with daily. Its actually not normal. And Andre was being _transparent_ whether your intro or extrovert, unless you're a *narcissist* they crave that kind of energy.

Nowadays, being a married man well in his 40's, tasked with tackling a ton of responsibilities, sometimes I play these "old" songs: Hey Ya!, Miss Jackson, etc. to remember the "old days", and bring back some of the comfort I felt then, when everything was far simpler and the future seemed brighter than ever.

Key interesting point .. when Andre 3000 and Big Boi dropped their first album, they were getting wild and everything, drinking and smoking, partying while on the road, and partaking girls/women when they were teenagers ... Andre 3000 himself revealed that he too was in a serious relationship with Keisha Spivey from the R&B group, Total when they blew up big during the 90s ... He was completely in love with her and they were together for 2 years until the unthinkable happened personally for him .. he was indulging heavy drug use besides smoking marijuana a lot hardcore, and at the time was eating meat, & then he too more often was street hustling or dabbling for studio and recording time money in between recording sessions of their first and second album. What lead to his change during the ATLiens period, was he personally going through a very bad breakup with Keisha Spivey (who did him dirty and seriously broke his heart), he started being in ill health while on drugs and marijuana, and then he reached a point where the pimp lifestyle was overtaking him and that he needed to change his lifestyle, according to members of the Dungeon Family, friends, and family ... He stopped smoking and drinking, became a vegetarian, got into eccentric fashion, and threw away his fresh pair jerseys, hats, and sneakers to wearing turbans, skii boots, platinum wigs, etc. ... Then he went celibate for about a year after his breakup with his ex due to her infidelity, got into a more sober personality indulging into spiritualism and read books or Bibles, and then more importantly he got with Erykah Badu and had his first and only child with her while in a relationship with her, even though he's admitted he wasn't over his ex, Keisha and the things he went through with her due to her being his worst heartbreak ... I salute Andre 3000 fully for being the better man and person that he is today cuz of those changes cuz life always teaches you things from good or bad and the folks you surround yourself with ... He inspired other artists that we have to this day to be themselves and trait their characters in hip hop and the music industry... Dre and Big Boi both changed the hip hop culture that many of us are gonna be talking about for more and more years to come ... My favorite albums from OutKast period, were ATLiens, Stankonia, Speakerboxx/The Love Below, & and Southernplayalisticcadillacmuzik 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I’m shocked that he still goes to the laundromat. He’s at peace with himself and that’s great ❤

One correction, speakerboxxx /love below did NOT sell the most COPIES it sold the most UNITS. It's a double album so each COPY counted as 2 UNITS. So it being 13x platinum means it sold 6.5 million copies, not 13. Any single disc album that sold 7 million or more actually sold more.

I’m not mad at the new Andre album…essentially it’s an ambient album…and it’s very relaxing

Generally I forgot just how good Outkast are and it has made me realise growing up they were my favourite hip hop group by a "country" mile. Actually fills me with warmth how at peace they are in their later years just enjoying life.
