Yeah, this was their second TED talk too ! If someone haven't seen the full TED talk session, I strongly recommend to do so ! It really shows what these sisters are all about ! This was the first song I heard / saw them do, and I was pretty much hooked after that ! I remember thinking: WHAT ??! This is totally unbelivable !? Who ARE they ??! I had NO idea then, that I just 6 months later, not only would see them perform live, but also meet them and their family in their home town Monterrey in Mexico ! Their talant is stunning, and they have come a long way since this was recorded, and they are still developing as musicians and as artists !

This video was my first introduction to The Warning over a year ago. It's, of course, older (I look at Ale's age she seems to be the marker for how old a vid is). I was struck immediately by Pua's attacking the drums as well as her voice. The best showcase of her voice (in my opinion) is the acoustic version of "The End (Stars Always Seem to Fade)" and Dany's guitar riff (head-banging) at the end. After seeing this, I was hooked.

She just moan about the vocals. Our reaction > These young ladies can rock and write good songs. Her reaction -> Vocals are off.
@Mike-or8wg4 жыл бұрын
Just a few things. The energy these girls give is amazing, very few 15 year old's at barley 5 feet have as much power and energy as Pau. Dani and Ale give just as much. Very few drummers can keep perfect time with one hand while reaching for a stick because they broke one. There are also very few drummers who can play like this in heals. You keep saying that they are rather pitchy on vocals, not only are they very young but I'm sure even the best singers may have a little problem singing live in a different language than they grew up speaking. At 65 I have been to a lot of concerts and have never found a band or singer that sounds as good live as recorded, including Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.

Yea stepnie not the first time this reactor has criticized the vocals of the warning, guess she is looking for a polished studio song like Angelina, I mean it’s one thing to stand in front of a mic and let the music play around you then to play drums, and sing lead, or play guitar (rhythm & lead), sing and front the band, or play multiple instruments and sing ala Ale… and finally singing in their second language, all this at 12, 15, & 17, this reactors favorite song is a Cranberry’s song, who she gives a 10, com’on that ain’t even rock and roll…TWA ⚡️⚡️⚡️

@TheUnderdogDe4 жыл бұрын
Well, I'm sure she enjoys the music just as much as I enjoy her reactions. I'm also a hardcore *The Warning* fan but I don't come here expecting her to give all their songs top grade. Perhaps some of us fans should loosen up and accept that a reaction channel is a place where the reactor gives their view of a certain performance and it wouldn't make any sense if they always thought there was no room for improvement. What perhaps would make sense would be if she checked when each video was performed. Their singing is not likely getting any better if she listen to older and older performances. Then again, on a newer performance, a bad throat could be the reason.😆

Lot of reactors these days seem very much influenced by these singing contest shows, which is fine... But it's really just singing, it's not rock n roll. Motley Crew, Twisted Sister, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, the Rolling Stones, The Talking Heads, Metalica, The Band, Radio Head, Nirvana, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice Cooper etc etc etc... None of these would ever have won on one of these contest shows And I really don't think they would have wanted to... Maunalee is great. I like her reactions and watch a lot of them... @Music with Maunalee dear maunalee. Thank you for your reactions to the Warning. Since you are only watching a few videos, you lack some background knowledge about the ladies. Of course Pau 'is a genius and Dany does some miracles with her guitar. But you underestimate the role of ale. She looks calmer, that's for sure her character. But most of all, she has absolute control over what happens on stage during the shows. She is the reference point of her older sisters when there are problems with the technology, the click track gets stuck or a girl is not on time. Ale signals and helps out of difficult situations. She no longer has to find her style, she is exactly what the band needs on stage. If you take a closer look at a few concerts, you could see it. This is not meant to be a criticism, because superficially it looks like you say it. So a little explanation here. I love your reactions and I love watching your videos. thumbs up

Wes alker I can't speak for everyone but foe me their sex has absolutely nothing to do wit it. I first saw their cover of Enter Sandman and I'll admit that tiny girls may have had an impact on why I thought it was so adorable and why I chose to look at something newer. Dust to Dust was my next song and it wouldn't have mattered if they were green furry elephants. I was floored. Now that song isn't even one of my favorites. Their song writing, their musicianship, and their energy/stage presence is the big draw for me. None of that has anything to do with sex. In my humble opinion the Jonas brothers have less talent overall than these girls and yet they made it huge...kinda throws a blanket on your argument I think.

Following Suzy Quatro's Mantra i will say as far as a Rock song compared to the entire genre... I rate it a five, because the vocal where off. The drummer should stick to drumming. Potential but not comparable to Heart, Joan Jet, Suzi Q, ACDC, Iron Maiden, Guns N Roses, etc. So an eught puts this band at the lower end of the great rock and roll bands. Five is generous becaus the instrumentald were there... the lead singer was OK but lacked the power and conviction of their instrument playing.
