I thoroughly enjoyed this!! Thanks, Melli, for these requests. I love that he plays multiple instruments, and is so adaptable to the space he’s given! Also, his voice is soft, which is so appealing. Luis graduated from USC, Thornton in Jazz Studies (not Berkley). Genevieve Artadi was a vocal major (jazz) there, as well. Jacob Mann from USC Thornton. The band musicians are, I believe, from the Jacob Mann Big Band. Folks who have heard Clown Core PRIOR to Knower miss that Cole is a genius composer, producer and an incredible and unique drummer (left-handed / main instrument). Sam Gendel is another product of USC Thornton. Cole and Artadi co-write their material and their earliest stuff was played completely by them, layered and layered (26-voice "More Than Just Another Try" is just celestial). Cole writes the arrangements for the big productions (Jacob Mann Big Band, Metropole Orkest, WDR Big Band) of recent years. Don't let his irreverence and odd fashion fool you ... HE IS A GENIUS AND A FORCE OF NATURE. We are really lucky to have close to 15 years worth of his and Genevieve's groundbreaking creativity and capabilities. So good to see you two picking up on ALL of their tastiest bits. You've got hundreds of hours of great stuff to discover. I suggest jumping into Knower's collaboration with Snarky Puppy on "I Remember". It will blow your mind. Great union of USC Thornton and Univerity of North Texas talents!!

most of these ppl are graduates, friends and fellow students that went to school with them at Berkley , many of them are included in other Knower and louis Cole videos, Genevieve also uses some of this crew on her solo material also.

Louis didn't list them out in this video's description, but I think a lot of the same people were in one of Knower's vids and they were listed there. In that case, I went ahead and googled every one of them, and many have interesting stuff of their own. I recommend looking them all up.

Also I Remember from the same Snarky Puppy album (Family Dinner vol 2). Genevieve's scatting along with the saxes is so spot on you might not immediately catch it on first listen if you're not listening for it.
