Because its a lot easier to crank a low watt amp and get that wicked power tube distortion without blowing your neighbors ear drums, plus if you live in the city in an apartment like me a 100W setup is sure to get you warning notices from the Strata council! I am personally a lunchbox amp addict gotta have em all, especially this little 10W HIWATT!

Testing 100W amps at conventions like these just doesn't work you cant crank it up to the sweet spot, the demo here was really constrained and compressed sounding but I can assume they were probably barely on 1 for volume its sure isnt fair to the poor amp!

They sound good, but the guy presenting the Hiwatt stuff, he had absolutely NOTHING to say that a 12-year old fanboy couldn't say. The Phaser is apparently "cool" and "kinda like a Pink Floyd record"... Wow, way to sell a product. And the tremolo is not new because it has a waveform selector. Don't try and sell it as a unique product like that when it isn't. Sell it because it is well-built, sounds great, is affordable, and has no bullshit, which I hope it already has.
