Commissions for mosaic floors are 99.99% modern art but we did do 5 of the 7 mosaic floors for Villa Ventorum down in Somerset which was a pretty unique experience!

I’m building a replica of the Megiddo Mosaic in my basement. Am I correct at calling it a Roman mosaic? I started with a cross 😅 felt appropriate.

They tend to be referred to as 'Late Roman' or Early Christian, those phrases are a bit interchangeable!
