Great design on that Slopmaster. Great tip on when and where to use spinnerbait. Not a muskie but I did catch my PB Largemouth on a spinnerbait in heavy cover. She weighed 7 lbs 10 oz.

I will sometimes add a twist lock rubber core sinker on the wire just ahead of the lead head if I want to burn the bait so it won’t blow out of the water. Love this lure. It also helps to cast further and into the wind.

Hey Joe you’ve mentioned that you add a split ring and do a direct tie to the slop master lure. What brand and size do you use for big game?

A #8 is the best fit although a 7 will work. JBO makes em.

Great lure Joe. It's the only choice to throw, in shallow rivers, that become weed choked with eel grass. And the muskies love it. Thanks for your tips.
