We call those jungle muskies. Throw into a hole in the weeds maybe only get a few cranks in before into the thick mat of weeds. But pulled many musky out of spots like that.

Hi Joe thanks for the tips. One question I have is are you retrieving the slopmaster fast enough to stay just above those folded over weeds or your cranking it through the weeds in the middle of the water column? Always struggled in July and will definitely be using this technique this year.
