Out of Fuel Before Noon

More fresh snow out in the mountain again today! We get back out on the Ski-Doo today, I was thinking since I haven't ridden it in a while it was going to be a few hours to get used to but it was only a few lines instead. really love both the Ski-Doo and the Polaris.

That Pro definitely needs some clutch work. That slow backshift is easily fixed with a spring and a couple cheap aftermarket items. The dealer prob has them on the shelf. Awesome guys! Keep up the good work and making us all drool. Be safe out there.

Hey, you made the leap! I mean I always knew you could. Having jumped a lot of cliffs in my youth on skis I both understand the draw and why I no longer would even if I could. But I got some good leaps on my 96 summit in my late 20's including one off the "Tit" at Summit Lake in the Alaska range. I would not have jumped that if I was given the choice. At least 40 feet, of air, enough the guy in front of me was just bottoming out when I went over the cornice and I was significantly worried that he would bang the pit and I would land on him. Super flat light, above tree line with a lot of hills where when you tipped over and could see what you were doing you were already fully (could not even bail off) committed. There were times when we literally had to throw a rope out in front of us to tell if what we were looking at was 20 feet away or 4 miles away. I imagine riding there is more fun now with easy GPS and bigger mountain sleds. I wish we were throwing ropes that day, but then I figured "How bad can it be, I am riding with five firefighters that are good at this..." (unamused)

Digging the chest mount view. Shows your feet and bar movement more. Can see how much counter steering and leg dangling you’re doing. You can appreciate more how steep it is and line selection.

Have a request, I can hear when you’re on the throttle, but not sure when you use the breaks. Maybe you can have a video where you call out what you’re doing on the line. Throttle, brake, even foot, wrong foot and dangle . Thanks for the content 🙏

Hey man, you are clearly riding the Heli laps at boulder here and I am assuming those are your tracks we have seen in there previously. This is a widely used sled ski area by much of the Revelstoke locals and more so part of the CMH heli skiing tenure. It is clearly outlined on the boulder map as a "no sled zone" for this reason. There is tons of terrain in Revelstoke to sled while respecting the other user groups and operators.
