I find it interesting that there wasn’t more difference in track speed considering the Poo has more HP and less track (15” x 2.75” vs. 16” x 3.0”). The Poo had slightly higher peak track speed, but the average track speed seemed to favor the Doo.

Wow. What a day. Very much enjoyed watching you jump sled to sled. What I have been waiting for. As a long time poo rider and with a khaos boost on the way at some time this year, enjoyed the side by side comparison. You really have made me a fan of the Doo. Something I didn’t really think I’d ever say. It seems like such a smooth ride. That said I don’t regret my order, just giving me more options in the future. Might actually get a Doo to have my own similar setup. If I could give more than one thumbs up I would. Keep up the content Matt… thanks

Great conditions for the sled comparisons. Here's a question for you to think about. You've mentioned the quicker turbo spool on the Doo in numerous videos. My question is: Can you truly FEEL that incredibly short difference in the performance of the sled???? Or, is it just one of those things that your ears can hear the difference, and you're thinking it's an incredibly small performance advantage???. Going off everything this year, there's 3 important factors. 1: Powder blockage (Advantage Doo). 2: Able to hold an edge better (Advantage Poo). 3: Width of stance at the front of the tunnel (Advantage Poo). For me, since the handlebar deep power isn't a majority of the days out. But rider comfort and holding an edge is more important to me; I would have to go with the Poo. I will be curious to see how the long-term outlook is at the end of the season. Some crazy fun in the deep today!! Great video as always!

so in other words, is one sled really better than the other? Or they both amazing machines that it just boils down to personal prefernce at this point? So glad to see the POW is back!!!!
@208SledHead2 жыл бұрын
The Polaris has more power and holds an edge better. The Doo breathes better and possibly builds more torque because it holds a more consistent track speed? I dunno about that last part - that's just me speculating. Neither one is a "bad" sled though. At the end of the day, Ski Doo set the bench mark for factory turbo machines and they did a damn good job.

@@208SledHead bench mark??? Pol started developing the boost in 2011, pol ended up with several patents that allows them to build 9 psi off boost on pump gas vs 4 for the doo. The doo is almost 40 lb heavier than the boost , wet weight and the boost holds 11 more liters of fuel. Bty, i pulled out a 22 175 tbo yesterday feb 1st from boulder with motor issues.

Hey mat Did you put the proper clutch weights in that boost?? The poo will come from the factory with high eleavation clutching, your eleavation in revy will allow u to add 2 to 4 grms off weight. Lighter fly weights will affect your track speed, more force equals a bigger wheel. I always add 4 grms of weight to my poos and this yr i also added more helix angle, this is for revy sicamoose riding?

Love the VLogs 👌 Quick Tip - Heard a few times now on deep days you mention not being able to breathe. The key for this is to eat the pow when it comes into your helmet! As the snow keeps pushing in...keep eating! You will eventually eat out a nice little cavity to breathe, and the pow will stop pushing in because you have made a little snowcave in your helmet. Works mint! Keep crushing it boyz 🤟🚀
