Great video, guys. A few things just based on experience. First, net that northern so you can be safer when removing hooks. When you got a musky lure hung up on the face of a fish like that, it's super risky to handle the fish by grabbing it. It's only a matter of time before you get hooks and barbs in your hand, and then you're going to the hospital. Second, slow down your retrieve with that topwater walker, and maintain that slow walk right up next to the boat. Your fishing partner here is working that walker pretty fast and not sticking with it once it gets near the boat. He got impatient. He's right that a walker will call up fish and have many misses, but what I've learned from experience is that a slower retrieve with variation triggers more committed strikes. Thanks again for making content.

The Lonesome Fisherman Eagle Lake likes to remind me how much I don't know about muskies for the first few days, and then usually let's up and let's me catch some after being humbled 😀

24 intro, nice. That pike made me cringe Brian...when that back hook flopped over on your hand I about crapped myself. I literally was saying my tv, pike, please don't flop.

Great video why didn't he figure eight with his top water when she followed it in?

Daniel Fetchak If I remember right the fish took off so he was trying to get a quick cast in the direction the fish headed. Or maybe not, he may have just screwed it up lol 😆

Hey I can understand in the heat of the moment these fish can get us worked up almost like buck fever lol.

Nice action but terrible figure 8s and some of the worst walk the dog reels I've ever seen. You have to swing those baits more, that's why they aren't hitting them properly.
