Irrespective of the fact when the ucc would be enforced in our country as a whole, the specific personal law for Muslim community is much needed to be enforced throughout India. When there is already a law available for Muslim women to seek divorce since 1939, then I do not think that a law on marriage would harm. In fact, as said by sir, it would curb the practice of puberty based marriages, age restrictions, prohibited relationships, registration issues and also legitimacy issues. It is high time now that a Muslim personal is introduced.

It is good and there should not be any problem to any one but what about the dowry , it should be prohibited as per report many are killed for dowry and tilak in Hindu marriage, every profession has its own demand of dowry including money , if a boy is doctor then tilak should be 1 crore, engg 50 lakh even professor and judges also included.
