I think the second person who said she went to Catholic school simply got confused. There were those in the Church who didnt believe in Christ's divinity. Arianism. At the council of Nicaea they established what is known as the Nicene Creed affirming Christ's divinity. The council wasnt saying or proclaiming Christ's divinity as dogma at this time because the divinity of Christ was already believed by many Christians who followed Jesus when He was on earth. It was just reinforcing the teaching.

The Bible never explicitly condemns slavery. However, the root of slavery is greed and a lack of love for others. The Bible has a lot to say about these things. God isn't seeking outward superficial conformity to rules; that's just behavior management. God wants true heart change. To change people from the inside out.

And history shows us that Muslim slave owners were on another level of brutality. They would literally castrate the male slaves so that they couldn't reproduce. This meant they would have to go and continue to kidnap more and more men without end in sight. They didn't allow these men the gift that God gives us of reproduction and being able to fulfill that important purpose. It's tragic.

izlam has always controlled a slave market- since it existed. Muslim slave traders were the ones who sold African slaves to Europe and the US. The Barbery Pirates were muslim slaves traders also. They were extremely active- They raided Iceland in the 12th century and kidnapped whole villages into slavery. The Pied Piper of Hamlin is based on the 12th century Childrens crusade- they were all sold to muslim slave traders. There are still slave markets in Libya and Egypt today. I heard a woman from Mali interviewed- she said if you are born in Mali today -you are considered "slave caste"- because the muslims are still running slaves out of Africa. They never stopped- only The West stopped slavery,

@@BroadMeadow-d9s Exodus 21:16 Whoever steals a man and sells him, and anyone found in possession of him, shall be put to death. Also the NT book Philemon is one huge condemnation of slavery Paul is urging a slave owner to free his slave. The anti‐Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse, for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert The Suffering Servant in Isaiah 53: Christian apologists often point to Isaiah 53 and say, "Look, this is clearly a prophecy of Jesus! A servant who suffers and is pierced for our transgressions." But they’re pulling that chapter completely out of context. If you read Isaiah 52 and the surrounding chapters, you'll see it’s talking about Israel, not an individual messiah. In Jewish tradition, the "servant" is consistently identified as the nation of Israel, who has endured suffering at the hands of the nations, yet remains faithful to God. There’s no mention of Jesus anywhere in Isaiah; the entire chapter refers to Israel's suffering, which brings light to the nations through its faithfulness and endurance. God Is Not a Man: One of the most fundamental teachings of Judaism is that God is not a man. Numbers 23:19 is crystal clear: "God is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that He should change His mind." This idea of God becoming flesh is completely foreign to the Jewish Bible. In fact, it’s contradictory to what God tells us over and over again: He doesn’t change, and He doesn’t take on human form. Christians argue that Jesus was both fully man and fully God, but that’s an idea that comes from Greek and pagan influences, not from the Hebrew Bible. If God was clear that He doesn’t change and isn’t human, how can we suddenly believe He became a man? Messianic Prophecies: Christian claims about messianic prophecies are often completely misapplied. Take Micah 5:2, for example, which Christians say predicts that the messiah will be born in Bethlehem. But a closer look shows that this verse refers to someone coming from the Davidic line-a family from Bethlehem-not that the messiah himself has to be born there. This is just one example where Christians are taking verses and trying to fit them into a preconceived narrative. Another favorite is Psalm 22, which Christians claim foretells the crucifixion with phrases like "they pierced my hands and feet." But the Hebrew word there doesn’t mean "pierced" at all-it means "like a lion." The original text paints a very different picture than what you’ll find in a Christian translation. Jesus’ Failure to Fulfill Messianic Prophecies: According to the Jewish Bible, the messiah is supposed to accomplish very specific things: bring world peace, gather the exiles of Israel, rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem, and reign as a king over a united Israel. Jesus did none of this. Christians will say, "He’ll do that in his second coming." But that’s not how the Bible describes the messianic age-it’s a one-time event where the messiah comes and does everything in his lifetime. If someone didn’t fulfill the messianic prophecies, then they’re not the messiah. Plain and simple.

@@justinaller4899Yes. And their obsession over the "injeel", which is a translation from gospel in Greek back to Arabic, also lands them in contradictory territory. The Quran clearly says that the Christians need to use their gospel (or else they don't have a leg to stand on), but if the gospel is corrupted, that's one thing, and another is if it's somehow lost: in that case Allah has commanded that the Christians live by a gospels that doesn't exist, which is contradictory and impossible. That means that either Allah demands that which is logically impossible or that the Quran is corrupted. Part of their folly is that they claim this injeel/gospel was supposedly some book that Jesus wrote. Jesus didn't write any books, as we know. However, if we allow the argument to stand for the sake of discussion, then there's another mystery that the Muslims can't explain. Early Christians were obviously obsessed with the death and resurrection of Jesus, and the various manuscripts that we have today have been meticulously been preserved. There's nothing like it in the world that's so sourced and preserved. Yet Muslims, some 600 years later, wants us to believe that early Christians just whoops, my bad, lost a gospel that Jesus wrote? It is far more reasonable if Christians preserved the gospels we know of, and if Allah refers to an injeel, then it's the gospels we actually have. Not some mythical book by Jesus that no Christian remembered to mention. We are supposed to accept this staggering level of improbability? I don't buy it ... Muslims scholars are not very good, imo. They've also bungled some stuff about an Imran, saying it's Mary's father. But likely they mixed up Imran and Miriam from the old testament with Miriam accidentally turning into Mary.

Matthew 7:1 does not mean to not judge others at all. We judge with a righteous judgement knowing the Words of God who is Jesus Christ. Luke 18:9-14 lays out and example of what Matthew is talking about. A Pharisee and a tax collector both enter the Temple and stand away from one another. The Pharisee stood and prayed, thanking God that he was not like other sinners, adulterers and even the publican over there. The Pharisee was judging anothers sin without asking forgiveness for his own sin. (Luke 18:11 (KJV) The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.) Now watch this...... The Publican or Tax Collector stood to himself and pounded his chest and prayed to God, "God be merciful to me a sinner." (Luke 18:13 (KJV) And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. ) Now listen to what Jesus says: (Luke 18:14 (KJV) I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. ) The Tax Collector found forgiveness, while the Pharisee was rejected and brought judgement on himself in humiliation, depression, emptiness. John 7:24 you are correct. We should not judge according to how someone looks, how they are dressed, and so on, but judge righteously according to the Words of God. IF you are in sin, and I quoted (1 Corinthians 6:9-10) would that be judgement? Or, pointing out what Words of God say? God Bless, I hope it helps in understanding.

I was a Christian all of life and even this last year was going to church twice a week had regular weekly bible study and family worship on Thursday so most of my week was dedicated to studying and worship. Now I use my free time to research Islam and have the same zeal. Bro,why do yall think myslims are ignorant and never read a Bible. All the Muslims I know have a Bible and talk to rabbis and scholars and people who know their stuff,not youtubers who learn from indoctrination in a church and layman books. We up at daybreak praying, leave work to pray, fast and study. No alcohol and no drugs or immortality. Not sleeping around,no distracting ourselves with music and TV all day. Like seriously we use all that extra energy to learn comparative religion and history and go to classes and are constantly buying books. At least practicing muslims. We pray side by side with Jews who arent zionists or have biases . They can't do that with you and neither of us can set foot in a church because its idolatry and u have statues and stuff,something God said dont do... how are you going to take a partner with God, doing the greatest violation and wanna say you feel sorry for us and we just mindless of what God wants?? Jews and muslims both know there is no original sin and sacrifice for atonement. Why does your authors say that as if it were a fact but the bearers of the book who lived it say "wtfutalkbout" 😂There never was any of that. Jews don't sacrifice for sins to be forgiven 💯 they simply ask for forgiveness. Ain't nobody had to die for that. It's free.

Someone needs to tell this girl that the root word of 'slave' is 'slav' because of the gigantic slave trade of Africa and the Muslim Middle East. Centuries before the first African slave went to the Americas, African and Muslim slave traders went to Europe and took entire coastal towns, killing all who resisted and enslaving everyone else. One million Europeans were taken to Africa and the Middle East as slaves. There is no class of descendants of these slaves because the treatment of European slaves by their African and Muslim owners was so barbaric and cruel that the average lifespan of a slave was six months. The men were all castrated, and most died from the procedure. Women were highly coveted sex slaves and were also dead within six months. Thanks to the Crusades, this slave trade was ended. Then, African and Muslim slavers started selling Africans to Europeans traveling to the New World. And the Muslim slave trade continues today, and also in parts of Africa, wherever there is Islam.

Slave comes from the word Slavic. These people believe what they want. The Eastern Europeans are the most persecuted people in history. A white culture! Over 100 million orthodox christians got genocided under communism. 500 years of Islamic ottoman invasion. The Mongols. Napoleon. 2 world wars killed over 40 million! These people donot even understand history. Considering the Arabic slave trade was the most brutal in history. Lasted for over 700+ years. Still happening today in places like Libya. Then black people saying Islam is the word! Remember one thing.. Christianity was in Africa first not Europe.
@nahkohese5557 күн бұрын
Not to mention that the black Africans taken in the Alantic Slave Trade were not captured by the Europeans, but purchased at the shores from other Black Africans! So, for all those seeking repairations from slavery, start with the descendants of the African tribes that caught and sold your ancestors. FYI - Slavery has existed since the dawn of time on virtually every continent in one form or another. As far as any Archeologists can tell, it most likely predates written history.

Koran says, "Jesus Christ is not God, he is just a prophet." Only to make place for the false prophet Mohammad, While the prophet hood was only till John the Baptist, this was said by Jesus Christ him self in Mathew 11:13, which means if after John The Baptist, any one comes and says, "I am a prophet" he is a FALSE ONE, which is Mohammad.

No, that not what it means. For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. - Matthew 11:13 The term "prophets" here means the prophets of the Old Testament/ Covenant prophets. That the Old Testament Prophetic scriptures (explicitly) and the Law, the Torah (with types and shadows) prophecied about the Kingdom of God that was coming with Christ and the New Covenant. There's are New Covenant prophets spoken of in the New Testament. Now there were in the church at Antioch prophets and teachers, Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen a lifelong friend of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. - Acts 13:1 And remaining many days, a And with this man there were four daughters, virgins prophesying. certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. - Acts 21:9-10 Male and female prophets. There are prophets still today. And He gave some indeed to be apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some shepherds and teachers, toward the perfecting of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ, until we all may attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a complete man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, - Ephesians 4:11-13

@@RanjitSingh-lm6co I understood that your argument is as follows: John the Baptist is the last prophet so all after are false prophets. Perhaps I misunderstood. I was pointing out that that is not a valid line of biblical reasoning. Yes, Mohammed was a false prophet and like other false prophets (let's say Joseph Smith) he was obsessed with power, women and sex. Both had many wives and even very young ones. Joseph Smith youngest was 14 and Mohammed was 6/7.

Of course the issue for the Muslim is not just the reality of Jesus divinity, but the fact that Quran Surah 4:157 teaches that they didn't kill or crucify Jesus. That claim goes against the entirety of the New Testament, and almost all secular references to Jesus in the ancient world. 5:07

It is refreshing to see students peacefully sitting and hanging around to hear the Truth, or at least to hear what the pastor is saying to hopefully inspire them to investigate the Bible/New Testament further on in their personal journey. I hope the discussions leads them Christ Jesus. Unlike the words in the Quran, there is no guille in the words of Jesus in The New Testament. The Old Testament refers to the future coming of the Christ( example: Abraham, Isaac and the lamb) , and the New Testament fulfilled the prophecy and God's illustration of how he loves us and the character of Christ.

When the Muslims say that in Philippians 2:6 that the "form of God" does not mean that Jesus is God, the same exact Greek word is used in verse 7 when it says that Jesus took the **form** of a slave, **by being made in the likeness of men** so when they say that Jesus being in the form of God merely means that He just reflects God's qualities, they would have to equally say that Jesus merely reflected the qualities of a man but wasn't truly a man, which is equally as heretical. In this passage you have both the full and true Deity of Jesus Christ, that He is truly Yahweh God Almighty (and btw I would read all the way to verse 11), and that He truly took on everything that it means to be a man, He truly took on flesh and became a man. Slam dunk case for both the true Deity and true humanity of Jesus. Father thank you so much for this passage! 😊🙌✝
