They are brain wash to think is peaceful religion. And when you list what is actually in their religion, they walk away because they cannot argue wht is in their Quran. They are afraid yet continue to embrance their beliefs. Is a bit sad though because they are born into a faith without choice and even when they do leave, they get alienated. Makes u think how peaceful r they huh? And u cant even imagine what they do to apostate (depending how strict those Muslims r when they view apostate)

@@edwardv7991 ... muslims mindlessly recite but do not really dare study what is in their Quran, but do what their imam ans scholars tell them to say and do, because Islam really is the invention of scholars, trying to make all the different pieces of human made nonsense fit together, though doing a terrible job at it.

Well, something important is that from their perspective, they are not mad b/c you “know more” about islam. They are raised in their mosques “not to take their religion from the kufar”. They are also heavily convinced by their religious elders that anything negative about their religion must simply be something written by bigots, or twisted by bigots, or a bare faced lie dreamt up by bigots. So what they’re really angry about (strictly from their perspective), is that you are saying bigoted things towards them and their religion. I had a brief back and forth with a muslim gentleman today about child marriage based on 2:228 and 65:4. When I finally cornered him based on tafsir and a hadith from bukhari, he began to say he didn’t know whether or not the tafsirs of ibn abbas, al jalalayn and ibn kathir were fabricated by Islamophobes (on whatever site he was reading them from, i did not provide him with a link). The victim mentality here is quite profound, and frankly, super frustrating.
