I think he avoided to answer this question. Ok ofc nobody says husband must give orders left and right. Of course he will ask nicely, let's say he won't want her wife to post on social media, does the wife have to obey? Let's say husband doesn't want her wife to go to some event, does the wife have to obey? Or she can do whatever she wants in these instances If she doesn't listen to him, is she sinful? (one time a married sister in my work place said, yeah my husband might not want me to go there but he has to tell me why) So.. She is not completely obedient, to me Also, if it is about culture, in the time of Prophet, was it culture to order left and right? and that's where this obedience come? Yeah I think he just avoided this question
