Order the fries with light salt, and they will have to make fresh fries! That way you get freshly made fries. Old fries are nasty , is you want s freshly made burger, ask for it minus 1 item. I order double cheeseburgers with no onions and they are hot and fresh. Just a tip I learned over the years.🙂

I love Jeremy's little nuggets of knowledge which are really whatever he comes up with on the spot. Sorry Jeremy the Italians did not invent French fries. Pommes frites came from street vendors in France somewhere between 1775 & 1789 but specifically referred to the style they were cooked which was once fried where as the fried style potato sticks that came from Belgium are twice fried. This is why people would say French fried potatoes or potatoes cooked French style but it was a mouthful so eventually they were called chips & everywhere else people just started referring to all fries as french fries no matter how they were cooked. Personally my favorite style is wedge where you boil the whole potato abt 10 min & spray with canola then bake in the oven with sea salt & everything bagel seasoning. Far less grease & you can season them during both the boiling & baking stage.

When I worked in a cardiology office we had a very nice patient who had been diagnosed with early Alzheimer's. He was on a research drug and actually doing quite well but it's still a shocking diagnosis. One of his coping skills was to collect jokes about the disease and would tell us dozens on his visits. When we saw he had signed in, we rushed to the bathroom to avoid wetting ourselves when he had us convulsing with laughter. One example: a man's wife had a cluster of different symptoms so he took her to a diagnostic specialist. He examined her and ran dozens of tests. While she was in the lab the doctor said he had narrowed it down to either AIDS or Alzheimer's disease but need to get back test results to be sure. The appalled man asked what he should do until then. The doctor said," Well, I'd drop her off two or three miles from your house and if she finds her way home, don't sleep with her!"
