Love that area. Really miss it! The flowers are spectacular this year…. And the geology in the background is amazing as well! Thanks for taking us.

Gabriella - thank you so very much for your excellent videos! As resident of Northern California I have found your channel very useful in deciding where to go next. Your videos are excellent: well filmed, to the point, really well edited, and with down-to-earth information. I will continue looking forward to your new episodes.

Awesome scenic hike in the Tahoe area. Thanks for the virtual experience until I can get back there myself.

Pink flowers= Fireweed. Purple flowers= Lupine. Red=Paintbrush. 2 white ones I don't know but one is in the Carrot family. One in the Sunflower family- some type of Daisy. Yellow ones might be Sunflower family, but can't see them close enough.

Yeah, in the Rockies at or above 9000ft. And above, mid July is peak time like there.

Excellent video! May I have a request? Could you mention the temperature at the time, in your videos? I see snow on the mountains (I hope I saw it right). That's a bit surprising. If you could also suggest what to wear (temperature difference between morning and afternoon may be quite big I guess), that will be even better! I have this temperature questions all the time when watching your videos. Thank you!

This day was hot..it was in the high 80s even in the late afternoon. I did this trail a few weeks earlier in June as well and it was in the high 70s...but in general july and august are shorts and tshirt weather...and lots of sunscreen and a hat a essential

Great place. I'm heading up to Tahoe for a tournament. Any chance you can be my guide on your favorite hike in Tahoe? I'll buy lunch and dinner.

Beautiful trail and it's on my list to do. What's your thought on this trail the first week of Oct?
@GabriellaViola4 ай бұрын
it should still be beautiful, i think the wildflowers will be gone but still a gorgeous trail...its also good in the winter for snowshoeing

I saw some videos with bears in living suburbs around Tahoe. Have you ever encountered bears or wolves on trails and how you dealt with them?
@GabriellaViola5 ай бұрын
I only saw a bear once on the trail near DL Bliss, I more often see them on the side of the road when driving or when they are trying to get into dumpsters, but even that isn't common to see.
