@@conroyy2405 hey man, vlands are fine except for one issue. Occasionally the car throws a bulb warning. I coded out with bimmercode. Other issue is that the indicators are rather faint in the daylight despite being dot approved. Plastics seems oem. Very good quality.

I like the gts style lights, the front and rear splitter/diffuser. The only thing I don't like is the spoiler, those spoilers dont even look alright on an m3/m4. I hope you dont mind me saying but I highly recommend the PSM style rear spoiler, it flows with the shape of the boot better an appears sleeker. But other all, looks nice. If you wanted more you could msport color the front grill, get some Heko Wind Deflectors which give the car a wider agressive look too. I hope you take these as positive comments as overall, its a nice looking motor. I have an f30 sapphire black which is similiar to yours, but i do not have the gts lights as over here they're close to £600 GBP. Lol.

@nathan barnes: Great video and beautiful upgrades! I recently installed the tail lights on my 2012 f30(fingers crossed on longevity) and the start button. Can you share a link for the adaptive cruise control that you used(i.e. where can i buy)? How's it working out so far?

Works great! No issues. There are no kits out there for it, you have to find the parts and buy them. It takes quite a lot of researching to find what part you need for your car and then searching to find the those parts. The dsc unit has to be replaced to an acc one and they are almost impossible to find and if you do find one they cost around 1000 usd. Total, it costs around 2500 usd.

The adaptive cruise was pretty technical but there is a forum out there from a Russian guy that did it that really helped. It basically involves swapping two modules, replacing wheels speed sensors, adding the adaptive cruise sensor and grill piece, making a custom wiring harness, buying an additional front harness, and coding. It costs around 2500 usd so not cheap and yes was a decent amount of work but not terrible. The hardest part was all the research I had to do to find the parts and do the retrofit correctly. But ultimately, if you are pretty mechanically inclined it should only take a weekend and then the coding. You don't need to change the brake lines but you do need to change the dsc unit which is very rare to find and so the most expensive. I think I paid around 1100 usd for mine.

ACC retrofit was around 2000, wheels were 1000(but can't buy them anymore as far as I know), M Performance Exhaust is like 1500 if you can't find it used.

Looks like you might have a stock charge pipe. If so, I'd get that upgraded since you're running higher performance tunes. More of a maintenance mod but the stock charge pipes can break under heavy load and then cause other issues.

@@mr.determination The charge pipe was an issue on the N55 that I had previous to this car but I have heard it not as much of an issue on the B58 but I guess I will see and may need to change it if does crack. The adaptive cruise was pretty technical but there is a forum out there from a Russian guy that did it that really helped. The auto high beams were much easier, just involved swapping the steering column switch cluster and coding.

Is there turbo lag right off the line for you ? I’m talking like 0-10mph then all of a sudden boost comes in after like 5-10mph..... and btw I don’t do LC just rev up to 1500-2000 and hold it using partial throttle then floor it. Is that the purpose of LC ? To avoid that fraction of lag right off the line? Lag normal ?

Yes I have that lag you are talking about of I don't use LC. LC definitely eliminates that and that and it's normal.

Since you have ID5, getting the ID6 look is as easy as getting the Bimmercode app and dongle and going into expert mode setting and coding ID6 Lite. There are many videos out there on youtube that show you how to do it.

Install is super easy two screws and like three plugs in the back. I had a friend help me code it as that isn't my forte and took about 20 minutes

I had my 2015 328i (base) for bout 3 years and so far I went through some standard gaskets such as oil filter housing and valve cover gasket, some sensors, new fuel pump, got about 90K miles on it now and lately my car’s been hesitating/lagging at low RPMs, especially in barely moving traffic, soon as I let go of the break and gas a little, the car would hesitate and then jump forward a lil all of a sudden, anyone has any idea what’s wrong? Also if there’s any BMW fanatics in the Florida area who’d can do a restoration project with me, pls feel free to hit me up, would like to make this car run like new again and change whatever I can without getting robbed at a BMW service center

Haha I have considered it but in the last 3 years that I have owned the car I may have parallel parked once or maybe never. I think that, the adaptive suspension, and the M performance brakes are the only options the car is missing.

@@nathanbarnes8625 nice setup indeed, I just upgraded my alloys from 18" 400Ms to 20" 624M They look way better, but I'm sure cautious of every pot hole in the road cause you really feel it, and the wheel noise is louder!

Oh yeah I forgot about that lol, yes I changed them with body painted ones. The intake seems fine no issues yet. Not a whole lot of noise from it if that is what you're a looking for. Glad to hear that!

Weird question but do you have trouble fitting a regular fast food cup in your drink holder? Not sure if it’s the same size of the 328i but I had issues fitting mine in the holder. I do plan on getting a 340i next year. Just been looking around because I’m also thinking about either a jag, Porsche, Mercedes, Infiniti Q60 or sticking with the bmw scene

For me personally, no. It would be probably pretty expensive to have somebody do everything for you. But that's obviously a choice you would have to make.

How did you retrofit adaptive cruise control please

The adaptive cruise was pretty technical but there is a forum out there from a Russian guy that did it that really helped. It basically involves swapping two modules, replacing wheels speed sensors, adding the adaptive cruise sensor and grill piece, making a custom wiring harness, buying an additional front harness, and coding. It costs around 2500 usd so not cheap and yes was a decent amount of work but not terrible. The hardest part was all the research I had to do to find the parts and do the retrofit correctly. But ultimately, if you are pretty mechanically inclined it should only take a weekend and then the coding. I'm not great with coding so I paid bimmertech to do that part
