Moon Girl! Really, a must have for any Wasp deck, but she can fit into any genius or champion deck with enough mental resources. Nova and Ironheart certainly want her, or a Honed Technique Ms Marvel deck

I agree … a lot of people don’t even put the cards your or they do small images that are hard to read. If it’s not a card review where you read the card text entirely it’s best to keep the photo up as long as you can imho. Love ya D20, and love the topic but I’m usually watching while doing something else and I don’t have the cards memorized and I can’t switch over to the marvel dub site when washing dishes or whatever. But I’ll rewatch when I have time to watch when I look up the cards.

I don't usually write comments on youtube but i came here literally just to write the same thing. Your videos are great but as someone who doesn't know all the cards, it can be quite hard to follow. Not only in this video but in some of your others previously. Thanks for taking the feedback

Just a comment on the Hulk ally. His main job like you said is a chump blocker, but you can build your deck around all aggro or aggro/energy so he doesn’t get discarded. You can also Voltron him in a guardians deck (like Drax for example) it takes some build up, but with Honorary guardian, enraged, energy spear, and boot camp you can get Hulk’s ATK to 8. Then combo it with Drax (maxed vengeance with his knife and combat training) and do 14 damage with as one. Again is a slow process and long build up, but it’s possible, especially in a multi player game.

Ms Marvel with Multitasking is just the most efficient feeling combo ever. I have several staples I use in different aspects and I find that they usually involve economy.

Great video! I definitely see this game getting more and more niche with its card pool and "must haves." My default solo build is protection and that aspect sure has changed a lot over the years regarding which cards were must include. A notable set of cards that I struggle to include now are the Power ofs. Used to be auto-include. Now, I think about it and am tempted by the other aspect-specific resource cards (or none of them at all).

In Aggression, if not a "must have", at least a good card to build around is "Honed Technique". Being able to turn "Uppercut" into a 3 for 8 Damage "Swinging Web Kick" for ANY hero is pretty cool. And if you can pair it with "Dive Bomb"? Don't get me started. Great video!

In recent time asses the situation is high on must have cards in decks...but that is more due to deckbuilding ideas...but so far it deserved its spot in 40

Jason, always coming through with the most clickable titles! :) Great to listen to while I was deckbuilding this afternoon. There aren't any true auto-include cards for me these days, except for the double resources due to the game's economy being built around their inclusion. However, if I'm playing hard scenarios or heroic difficulty, It's hard not to include Nick Fury and endurance.

Agree with Ingenuity being a must include for Genius traited heroes. Deft Focus is must have for super power dense heroes. Team Building Exercise in certain decks also feels required.

foil is one of my favorites. I just like using it so the main scheme doesn't go bonkers when I need to heal and for justice and even the odds are some of my favs too.

Always a good reminder that Iron Fist has an official errata saying that his ability is actually an interrupt. Which means you can deal 1 damage remove a tough card and then initiate dealing his attack damage.

I don't always want to include it but Power in All of Us definitely helps to get those bigger basic cards out and is sometimes too good to pass on.

Agreed, that's a card I see hit the table more and more. Especially with how good some Basic cards are nowadays.

The cards I must have one copy of (minimum) are the trainings to give +1stat. Any aspect specific resource generators for those aspect cards.

I always use my promo cards, no matter what deck I use I’ll always have a promo card in there just because I like looking at them, I wish there were more
