Looking for an affordable street tire with some good performance for your 1/8 scale buggy? Check out the Duratrax Bandito C2 tires! I run my buggy a lot in front of my house on the street, and I wanted a tire that wouldn't burn up fast. I want to retain the tread life on my stock tires and use them for dirt and grass. I have Duratrax on my Typhon and Big Rock and I like them a lot. And for less money. Really enjoyed your video. So great to see a son and his dad having fun together with RC. Your son laughing at the speed of the car was awesome. That's what it should be about

Those tires look nice! Those 3s Typhon wings take quite a beating before they finally let go. But the wing and those shock tower caps really save the body from damage when your sliding upside down!! 😉

Great review. The wing and front shock towers seem to take most of the beating on the Typhon. Thankfully those parts are reasonably priced. The Bandito tires seem to preform real well.

Thanks! Yes the wing and shock tower caps take a beating and I hate it because they get so scratched up. Like you said they are cheap so it’s easy to replace them. Also better than beating the body up too!

@@itsmeericbrc4453 I bought mine in 2018 when it first came out and out of about 30 RC's it's still one of my favorite... like all 3s BLX systems mine came with a heatsink. Back then you had to upgrade the motor mount though to keep it solid but now apparently they have upgraded motor mounts. My favorite wheels on it are actually the 6s Typhon Kitar's. Once the tread pattern wears down they turn into amazing on road slicks. I'm totally happy with the stock tires for off road in dirt or grass but I also keep a pair of mx28 for both of my typhon's. I have the same shocks but having put them on my Typhon or Granite yet. What shock oil weight did you use?

That ESC is so easy to use that I wouldn't think you would need a program card but I got the program card even makes it easier!

Be careful jumping with those wheels, those spokes crack pretty easy. The tires are nice, plastic is just a bit weak.

Is your suspension hard or soft? Im having lots of issues with flipping over and the back wheels lift off the ground when i turn right or left. I just been using them for speed runs or a rainy day

I am currently running 50wt oil in the shocks. I think when I filmed this I had 60wt in them. I am running the preload just enough to keep the car from sagging (keeping the a arms level). Still using the stock springs that came with the proline shocks.

I just got the Proline Powerstrokes for my Typhon 3S. Did you have any issues with fitment and the bottom mud guards on shocks hitting the suspension arms? The rear & front suspension arms I had to dremel out larger groves so the shock bottoms wouldn't hit. Did you have any issues fitting these on?

Yes! You should easily be able to glue new tires onto an existing wheel.
