Do you have a video on tying the Mini euro pats? If not any chance there’s one in the future?

It is an interesting fly. I'll have to tie some and see how they do here in Missouri.

Hey man thanks for tying it! And let me know if you want more effective classic icelandic flies also i saw someone saying the vinyl rib should have been smaller its usually tied that way but i like this one more because its fatter and more juicy

Greetings from Arctic. This is a good one. Also, a completely black fly with a golden head and two black legs on each side is ridiculously effective in most conditions.

Sounds like a nice pattern, what do you use as legs?
@JS-ve3xb4 ай бұрын
@@MainelyFlies Black monofilament fishing line for the legs, but any similar material will do. Hind legs no longer than body lenght, front legs shorter. The body can be coverad with resin to make it stronger. size 10-12. I've used varius body materials and noticed that black silk and resin (or simply what ever thread and black resin) from the bend of the hook to the bead works best.

@@JS-ve3xb very cool, might have to tie that up some time. Thanks for the suggestion. Any name for it or is it just something you like to use?

@@MainelyFlies you’re welcome! Kiruna fly. This pattern is very popular in the northernmost Sweden.
