Backpressure helps with torque but in general it moreso hurts power, you want a vacuum effect to happen, exhaust scavenging and such. The suck helps with the piston not being restrained with moving

I’ve been FBO + flex fuel for almost two months now and I had been running a muffler delete the whole time. Soon as I put on my ARK Dt-S exhaust I felt that back pressure immediately and it finished the rest of the build nicely. Your points are hella valid 👌

hell yeah man! The science is correct about back pressure that is why I always recommend a legit exhaust system but some don't listen lol

I have mishimoto intake, and intercooler kit, with full race catback exhaust just cuz I want to be carb legal. And it feels great

Hell yeah sick! Mishimoto is great and i love how theyre stuff is CARB! More companies should do that!

@@ElPinche97 I agree. I believe mishimoto is the only company rn for the 10th gens to have any carb stuff right now

Data has shown these l15s can take ethanol but they don't necessarily like it long-term

yeah I am still debating it honestly

How are your wheels(rims) after almost 1 year of use? Would you recommend them? Thanks.
@ElPinche972 жыл бұрын
they're amazing! no complaints or issues. only small curb rash on the passenger ones but that's my fault lol. But they are still looking great and no cracks or bends. These AVID 1s are perfect for daily driving and some spirited driving

Be careful with flex fuel.....50/50 chance of head gasket issues or worse...rods punching right through the block.... I'm from what I read. It's almost like luck of the draw... Some people run flex fuel 40,000 miles beating on it no problem. Some get 15 and blow a hole in their block 🤷🏾♂️. To me it's not worth it as a daily driver.... Bigger turbo is more reliable and safe
@kylegentles22702 жыл бұрын
I feel the same exact way what do you recommend for turbo w2, rv6, or Vargas ? Your opinion helps a lot.
@esp78g2 жыл бұрын
@@kylegentles2270 I'm not sure. I've never actually tried any aftermarket turbo. I just know from research flex fuel is a risk.... Most people run W-2 turbo though or RV6.... PRL has a kit too, but that requires changing a lot of components that come with the kit

@@ElPinche97 make sure you replace head studs with ARP studs if you go bigger turbo/run boost over 21lbs especially on the daily driver 👍🏾
