Dude, 5' 10" isn't short! All your friends must be crazy tall. 😄 Thanks for the good content!

Thank you for this video! I’m 5’ 10” and the stock geometry of the ultra bee fit me terribly. I just added W9 bar riser/dampeners and the peg drop brackets you described here with the low profile Puget Sound pegs and the bike absolutely came alive!!! Highly recommend these upgrades!!! Bravo!

Glad I could help! Yeah, I felt super cramped on the bike in stock form.

Great content as usual thank you. My Ultra Bee felt great until I started riding my gas bike. I can tell the difference now when I move between the two bikes and I feel cramped on the ultra bee. I have riser bars, but I think I need the lowering pegs as well. $200 is a lot of money to pay for the lowering kit and a new kickstand. I'm going to wait, maybe others will come out and sell it cheaper.

As a taller rider Ive only ever run Fastway (drop) pegs on my motos so I called'em up and it sounds like they are working on set for the UB as well. This is the first drop bracket Ive seen for the UB, looks good! May have to go this direction if they can get the black back in stock by next month when my UB is delivered.

That was a good video with above average camera work thanks. You failed to mention how much the new pegs actually lowered the foot rests ?
@zekd8 ай бұрын
Thanks! The lowered brackets drop the pegs by 15mm and move them back 5mm.
@jimji27748 ай бұрын
Looked it up on website 15 mm down and 5 mm back. Thats only between 1/2 and 5/8 " drop. Not much but it sounds like it was worth it to you.
@zekd8 ай бұрын
@@jimji2774 yeah it doesn’t sound like much but I’ve run a few sets of lowering pegs/brackets and it dramatically improves the handling of the bikes for me. I love it.

Awesome foot pegs and great video man. Thanks for the install. I still prefer the KKE footpegs due to their removeable pins
@zekd8 ай бұрын
Thx man! Haven’t tried KKE. Removable pins would be nice.

I think it just would have been easier if someone made a pedal that was lower you don't need to modify the bracket

I have bar risers and with the ultra bee still feel I am not fully comfortable and pulling the bars, unweighting the front, easily, when standing. For going up ver steep, slippery, loose rock and tree roots, I like the idea of lowing the pegs for a bit lower center of gravity. I may be unique, but I feel the front end feels "a bit too high" in the front. Lowering foot pegs might help. These units seem nice, but a bit more than I'd like to spend. They do not seem as though they lower all that much, more moving back? Any measurements how much lower than stock? My other thought was to lower the front end a half inch on the forks to see if it puts a bit more weight on the front. But loving the Ultra Bee!
@zekdАй бұрын
I can't remember but I think I list the lowering dimensions of the brackets in the video. If you want to test lowering your front end you could slide the forks up in the triple clamps and see if that helps.

Hi Zekd, I tried your link in description for Lowering Foot Peg Bracket but it seems that emx doesn't sell this for now ? Link is down

Thanks for this post. It looks like you have the Warp 9 18/21 wheelset with a 54t sprocket based upon your videos. Are you happy with the setup? How much speed did you lose going from 50t to 54t? I'm looking to buy an 18/21 setup and would appreciate your feedback. The only other thing I wish the aftermarket had are frame protectors like Acerbis offers on ICE bikes to prevent boot rub.

Very nice looking pegs but I'd rather raise the bars instead of lowering the pegs. While riding in deep narrow ruts, or in forest bush dragging my boots, low pegs would be the last thing I want.

I do have a set of bar risers. Still was not enough. I’m going to risk it with the lowered pegs offroad.
