just got this filter for my canon eos 700d, love the effect! Yet if i film lights directly and zoom in a little, there are some ugly refelctions. Is this a common problem and i just have to try to avoid them or is my camera the problem?

Could that be why my filter seems to not be working? I shoot slog so i have my sharpness at -7 and i use a 1/4 pro mist and seem to me that the image is to soft! Should I change it back to 0? Great video!

That might be it!

I just received my Tiffen Glimmer Glass 1 and was wondering if using it with my circular polarizer is a good thing or not ? And if so in what order should I put my filters ? Which one goes first ? Because I noticed the diffusion effect was suppressed a bit with the polarizer so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or the diffusion effect isn't strong enough on the glimmer glass to be seen. Help me please 🥲

Sadly with all moment and tiffen diffusion filters I get some type of flaring and other than me increasing my aperture I don't know how to deal with it do you have any tips. And it happens just like how it did in your video. Also do you recommend stacking a diffusion filter and a ND filter when needed or just all together avoid situations like that?

What about sharpening in post when our image by accident turn out to be too soft?

that is also an option but I think my footage was too soft :(

I found focusing wide open to be more difficult... have you found the same?

It’s probably because the image softens and becomes less contrasty.

This is why I never go over 1/8. It’s the perfect strength
