The corner bug is the most obvious but minor map bug, you can simply recenter it (press the right toggle on Xbox) but the big issue is not being able to see quest markers and search areas. Can't even do the faction dailies because there's no way to know the area to respond to.

@@glep3570 the discord bug reports section was missing, there has been some Discord issues where channels disappear for a majority of users but not mods and I couldn’t find the PTS bug reports thread/channel at all I thought they weren’t taking bug reports only feedback so I couldn’t report it I checked every day for 4 days. Finally a mod linked it to me and that’s the only way I can access it even now🤦‍♀️🥰. The bug isn’t affecting everyone btw

yep i also have that issue and sometimes the octogons show up for events but the players dont. when i try and do the nuclear keycard mission the waypoint never shows up. same with the dailys for ward and raiders the circle doesnt show on map.

I showed exiting and entering the map several different times. Once you close the game completely it’s gone. I don’t work for Bethesda so not sure why you would think a non Bethesda YT video would show 100% fix. I don’t write code and 100% completely fix the issue. I try to help out the community. This is a temporary fix not permanent, but you just stopped by to be miserable, since you already knew that there was no way a player could fix the issue on their own.

The company needs to hire competent developers akin to those who created the game engine in 2014. There is no justification for persistent crashes, especially a decade later. 1 Wall per room in all rooms in the Vault Storage Shelter is bugged. Objects float off of the wall and no matter what you do they won’t go against the wall. It looks crazy.

@addictiongaming76 when fallout 76 first came out there was a bug/glitch that allowed the disarming and rearming of traps, player gained hundreds of levels, if you weren't playing back then then you would be unaware that it was fixed within a couple of days once they made aware. The treason they don't bother to fix bugs that cause problems to players is because there is nothing in it for them, if a SCORE bug allowed players to level up how quickly would that be fixed? Why? The slow kids may ask, it is because free atoms are at the end of this particular bug and that can cost bethesda.

Since update it’s almost unplayable for me.. constant game crashes/screen freezing game sounds and music still playing.. did every troubleshoot with console ie. Safe mode cache clear, redownload game ect.

You could also click the "center" button immediately when you open the map. Thats what ive been doing. Still not a fix per se but its a workaround at least. Ivse accidentally zoomed the map out before and have never been able to replicate it so thank you for showing that❤️

Since you asked: if you title your vid "Must Know Fix!" You should probably lead with that & then continue with everything else. Secondly: this was NOT a "fix" this was an added extra two steps from pressing the right stick down to center the map on the player. 1 click. Done. On some maps the map does not have map points, reported. On some maps "nuke zones" don't highlight, ie; Queen events, reported. On some maps players not team leaders are invisible, also reported. Again: "Lead with your titled subject" we'll stick around for the rest. 😊

@@DmentidJester 1. I said it’s at the end, and I lead with the news which reviews that they are aware and trying to fix it the map bug 2. Mine works for long periods of time, whereas the Joystick has to be done every time. Plus when this isn’t broken it’s nice to use to see the whole map. 😉. Also no one watches anything. Most people click on it and come in and start asking questions even if the answer is in the first 10 seconds. If I had $ for every time I answered a question directly in the first minute of the video and then I received questions about that answer I’d have at least $250k at least 😉🤣🥰. But what about mission objectives not showing on the map? The way my map opens is hardly an issue but can you even run down missions without objectives showing. Its dumb as hell that i have to fast travel around until i get close to the location by using the compass when in normal camera mode. But i noticed last night have of the dailys dont show up at all. Like if i go and try to find the stolen thig for ward its not even showing on the compass. Finding the raider theif is impossible.

If you have fallout 1st and wish to spend the time go into a private server and claim workshops to drop a santatron in each great way to farm gifts you can also buy gift wraps make sure you boost that charisma and use chems to get the best deals id start at the mall first and work your way around the map. I haven't noticed any bugs other then the obvious as for glitches well those are my glitches to know and hopefully nobody else finds out so far it's been a few years and nobody has reported these specific things.

Quest markers have been a big issue since the last patch especially when running missions for Crater or Foundation. Hard to catch the running raider when you can't see him on the map lol. Regardless, the free Santa collectron made the event worthwhile even with all of the bugs. It's a shame they nerfed Dangerous Pastimes though. I've run it every time I see it and haven't gotten a single plan or decent weapon drop, certainly no named ones.

Straw goat issue seemed to be some players who had learned it previously were unable to build it. I learned it during the last Holiday Scorched and was able to construct it but I also had the plan drop in the current event as one I did not 'know.' So it is a little inconsistent - some players couldn't construct despite knowing the plan (one friends said they couldn't move an existing one in their camp), others like me seem to be able to make it but when the plan was dropping it was as if we didn't know it.

Okay, so straw goat, I learned it when it first came out and it was able to be placed, then a update happened, and then it could no longer be placed and it said you needed to learn the plans but anytime you found a plan in a vendor it said known, here's the good part for me, on day one of this holiday scorched event, I received the plan in one of my gifts, it did not say known so I learned it and now I can place the goat so I guess they removed it on the second day of the event when they put the collectron back in the shop so it works for me now!

This is not the big issue the it’s annoying but the big one is you can’t see teams Camps or players on your team locations and the Event you get notified but you can’t see it running on your map I have same issue on Xbox SX And Ps5 it’s sucks though I have to close my game more then 4 to 5 times to get normal game play 💀😭

If you're playing the game on PC, just hit the spacebar when looking at the map and it will instantly center around your location so you can orient yourself and proceed from there. The bugs this time around have been brutal - worst is when I bring up the inventory menu and it freezes for about 5 seconds while I'm being attacked. *sigh*

Doesn’t take long to become a lvl 1k anymore, so lvl doesn’t seem to mean as much. How many hours is how we measure seniority nowadays, but yes none of this is that made imho it’s just annoying when something is game breaking that is the worst. Tysm for watching I appreciate the support!

I'm not sure that this isn't more damaging to Bethesda for the influx of new players (or very minimal ones like me who finally decided to give the game one more try). The long term players have some level of investment (time, money, or both) but the newer ones just see Bethesda at their buggy worst and it makes it awfully tough to justify any more time spent on it. I noticed a new Pip Boy glitch where every time you use a consumable it puts you all the way up to the top of the list again. Just tested this and the aiming thing seems to work, but I can’t even see any fast travel points now. Literally can’t fast travel anywhere. What a catastrophe. Everything works fine on private server. Not sure how people without 1st are even playing the game.

@@EldenLord84 so not all FO1st players are on easy street btw just like not every player has all the bugs that most players have. So unfortunately you’ll need to log out and log back in. You might need to reset up ur map though. Gosh I hope they fix all these issues next week as it seems more new problems keep arising.

I’m not a programmer, but why should aiming a fixer, hand made or gamma gun affect what position the game map is zoomed to? This is just bonkers.

My map is completely borked on multiplayer worlds but works perfectly fine on my fallout 1st private world. If this is true for everyone, comparing the code could lead to the fix.

I concur, map still works perfectly in private world. Challenges also show correctly as opposed to on a regular server.

@@Elvira691 you should definitely try since you have 1st. My theory rn is that whatever map u first logged into that’s the one that is bugged. Some FO1st players only have bugs in their private server and other players only have bugs in their public servers. Some players only have them in custom worlds🧐

Hopefully "they are working on it" They need to fix the game Randomly crashing (More public events then just 3 Per Hour) the game is also a little Jittery and freezes sometimes when everyone's Using OP weapons (and spamming) thats all the issues I see (also, they should have an Upgraded version then just for PS4 Fallout)... most people have a upgraded Generation so they should do it free of Charge, aka eliminating many bugs hopefully and hopefully less Crashing With faster loading times... kinda Logical at this point

Yeah.... I'd rather just wait for Bethesda to fix the map. This is just too much fiddling for a pretty much worthless map. Today, i couldn't even fast travel anywhere because markers were gone, including camps, and daily quest markers weren't showing either even after server hopping multiple times tracking was delayed and item pick up notifications took forever to show.

I'm on ps 5 now but played Fallout on ps3 and ps4 but still BIG problems it really is a shame , im a team player now and have to play on private so there's no problems ?? Not everyone can afford fo1st Bathesda yet they are temp suspended people ? What do you expect people are really fed up !!!
