Awesome content Raj👍 one question - is there any tool which will help to monitor/alter before a microservice goes down? Alert should not come after an incident. Getting alert before a system is down. Thanks in Advance
@cloudwithraj2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you can monitor replicaset, let's say if number of pods for a microservice goes down to half, you can send alert and get on it asap before all pods go down.

Does bare-bones Ingress do load balancing or has hooks to create one? I believe bare-bones Ingress only does path based routing (and terminations)
@cloudwithraj2 жыл бұрын
What do you mean bare-bone ingress? Like nginx/traefik? Most popular is AWS load balancer controller which creates a Application Load Balancer

Nice video. But there's no thing called "AWS Ingress". Because there's no ingress controller provided by AWS.

Why it happens that interviewer asks questions based on his own experience and day to day activities and not understanding the candidates experience and day to day work activities. In devops role the activities commands and small tasks varies from organization to organization. In this way I guess the interviewer is just restricting a new way of thinking and work dimensions to his company and only want to recruit the exact duplicate copy of himself with exactly same knowledge base and thought process.
