സഹോ, ഞാൻ Bhavnagar- Kochuveli train ൽ Ankleswar നിന്ന് sl tic book ചെയ്തു Rlwl-1 ആണ് waiting list ഇനി 4 days കൂടിയുണ്ട് departure ന്. ഇത് conform ആവാനുള്ള chance ഉണ്ടോ. 3A ൽ tic availablity 54 ഉണ്ട് Consider auto upgradation option വച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതുകൊണ്ട് അതിലേക്ക് upgrade ചെയ്ത tic എങ്കിലും കിട്ടാൻ chance ഉണ്ടോ.

Yes man. I am in chennai. Last 23 my dad booked tatkal for me from kollam. He shared the screen shot of the ticket. I also received message on my phone confirming my booking status, seat no coach no etc for 3rd AC. But on the day of my journey when i showed the tte my id proof and the railway message, he wanted to see the ticket 1st. I told him it is with my father, and he asked me to either pay the entire fare as fine right there itself or get down at katpadi station. I didnt have that much money with me, so i had to get down at katpadi. This is for 3rd ac, dont know about slr class

Sleeper Class (SL) കോച്ചുകളില്‍ [S1,S2......S10,S11,etc] AC ഇല്ല  Passenger, Mail/Express,S.F.Express,Sampak Kranti തുടങ്ങിയ തീവണ്ടികളില്‍ കാണുന്ന ഒരു സാധാരണ കോച്ചാണിത്.സെക്കന്ഡ് ക്ലാസില്‍ ഉറങ്ങാനുള്ള സൌകര്യം കൂടി ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയതും എന്നാല്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ വിശാലതയോടെ ഇരിക്കാനുമുള്ള ഒരു ബോഗി എന്നും വേണമെങ്കില്‍ പറയാം.എന്നാല്‍ സെക്കന്‍ഡ് ക്ലാസിനെക്കള്‍ നിരക്ക് കൂടുതലാണിതിന്.പകല്‍ സമയങ്ങളില്‍ ഇരുന്നു യാത്ര ചെയ്യുകയും രാത്രിയില്‍ മധ്യഭാഗത്തുള്ള ബെഡ് ഫോള്‍ഡ്‌ ചെയ്തു എല്ലാവര്ക്കും ഉറങ്ങാനുമുള്ള സൌകര്യവും ഇതിനുണ്ട്. റിസര്‍വേഷന്‍ കോച്ചാണെങ്കിലും ചില സെക്ഷനുകളില്‍ ടിക്കറ്റ് കൌണ്ടറില്‍ നിന്നും വെറും Sleeper ടിക്കറ്റ് എടുത്ത് ഈ കമ്പാര്‍ട്ട്മെന്റില്‍ യാത്ര ചെയ്യാം.  ഉദാഹരണത്തിനു 12618 Mangala S/F Exp.(Delhi-Ernakulam) ട്രെയിന്‍ ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍ നിന്നും പുറപ്പെട്ടു മൂന്നാം ദിവസമാണു കോഴിക്കോട് എത്തുന്നത്(Arrival-07:00).സാധാരണ ഗതിയില്‍ ഈ സെക്ഷനില്‍ (Kozhi-Erna) സ്ലീപ്പര്‍ റിസര്‍വേഷന്‍ ചെയ്യാറില്ല.കോഴിക്കോട് എത്തുമ്പോഴേക്കും സ്ലീപ്പര്‍ ബോഗികള്‍ കാലിയായിത്തുടങ്ങും.ഓഫീസ് സമയം ആയതിനാല്‍ കോഴിക്കോട് നിന്നും ഏറണാകുളം(Arrival-11:50) വരെയുള്ള നിത്യ യാത്രക്കാര്‍ ഇതില്‍ യാത്ര ചെയ്യാറുണ്ട്.കൌണ്ടറില്‍ നിന്നും "മംഗളയ്ക്ക് ഒരു സ്ലീപ്പര്‍ ടിക്കറ്റ്" എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ സെക്കന്റ്‌ ക്ലാസിനേക്കാള്‍ കുറച്ചു കൂടിയ നിരക്കിലുള്ള ടിക്കറ്റ് ലഭിക്കും.എന്നാലെന്താ തിരക്കേറിയ സെക്കന്‍ഡ് ക്ലാസിനേക്കാള്‍ കുറച്ചു കൂടി സൌകര്യപ്രദമായി ഇരുന്നു യാത്ര ചെയ്യാമല്ലോ.

Chair Car (CC) കോച്ചുകളില്‍ [C1,C2 etc.] AC ഉണ്ട്.  സെക്കന്‍ഡ് ക്ലാസിന്റെ AC വേര്‍ഷന്‍ ആണിത്.ശതാബ്ദി പോലെയുള്ള ട്രെയിനുകളില്‍ ഈ കോച്ചില്‍ ഭക്ഷണപാനീയങ്ങളും നല്‍കാറുണ്ട്.എല്ലാ തരത്തിലുള്ള AC കോച്ചുകള്‍ക്കും ഗ്ലാസ് കൊണ്ടുള്ള വിന്‍ഡോകള്‍ ആയിരിക്കും ഉണ്ടാവുക. ഗരീബ് രഥ്‌ ട്രെയിനുകളില്‍ ഈ കോച്ചുകളില്‍ J1,J2..തുടങ്ങിയ ശ്രേണിയില്‍ ആയിരിക്കും നമ്പര്‍ ഉണ്ടാവുക. Executive Class (EC) കോച്ചുകളില്‍ [E1,E2 etc.] AC ഉണ്ട്  ഇരുന്ന്‍ യാത്ര ചെയ്യാവുന്നതും എന്നാല്‍ AC ചെയര്‍ കാറിനേക്കാള്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ സൗകര്യവും സീറ്റുകള്‍ തമ്മിലുള്ള അകലം കൂടുതലുള്ളതുമായ കോച്ച്. AC 3-Tier തേര്‍ഡ് എസി (3A) കോച്ചുകളില്‍ [B1,B2, etc.].  സ്ലീപ്പര്‍ ക്ലാസിന്റെ AC വേര്‍ഷന്‍.എന്നാല്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ സൌകര്യവും രാത്രി യാത്രക്കാര്‍ക്ക് തലയിണയും പുതപ്പും ബെഡ് ഷീറ്റും അധിക ചാര്‍ജ്ജ് ഈടാകാതെ തന്നെ നല്‍കുന്നു.8 ക്യാബിനുകളില്‍ 8 യാത്രക്കാരുമായി 64 പേര്‍ക്ക് യാത്ര ചെയ്യാം.Third AC മുതല്‍ മുകളിലേക്കുള്ള എല്ലാ ക്ലാസുകളിലും തലയിണയും മറ്റും നല്‍കുന്നു. AC 3-Tier-Economy (3E) കോച്ചുകളില്‍ [G1,G2......G8,G9, etc.] AC ഉണ്ട്  ഗരീബ് രഥ്‌ ട്രെയിനില്‍ മാത്രം കാണുന്ന തേര്‍ഡ് എസി.ഇതില്‍ തലയിണയും മറ്റും നല്‍കുന്നതല്ല.എന്നാല്‍ അധിക ചാര്‍ജ്ജ് നല്‍കി വാങ്ങി ഉപയോഗിക്കാവുന്നതാണ്.9 ക്യാബിനുകളില്‍ 9 യാത്രക്കാരുമായി 78 പേര്‍ക്ക് യാത്ര ചെയ്യാം.സാധാരണ ട്രെയിനുകളില്‍ നിന്നും വ്യത്യസ്തമായി രണ്ടു പേര്‍ക്കു ഫെയ്സ് റ്റു ഫെയ്സ് സീറ്റുകള്‍ക്കിടയിലായി പുതിയൊരു സീറ്റ് കൂടി ഫിറ്റ്‌ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.എന്നാല്‍ ഈ രീതി വളരെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുണ്ടാക്കുന്നുവെന്നു പരക്കെ ആക്ഷേപമുയര്‍ന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്.എന്നാല്‍ 3-Tier ACയെ അപേക്ഷിച്ചു ഇതില്‍ യാത്രാ നിരക്ക് കുറവാണ്. AC 2-Tier Second AC (2A) കോച്ചുകളില്‍ [1A,2A,etc.]  തേര്‍ഡ് എസിയേക്കാള്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ സ്ഥലസൗകര്യം.സ്വകാര്യതയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി സീറ്റുകള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ കര്‍ട്ടനും തൂക്കിയിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. 8 ക്യാബിനുകളില്‍ 4 യാത്രക്കാരുമായി 46 പേര്‍ക്ക് യാത്ര ചെയ്യാം. First Class (FC) കോച്ചുകളില്‍ [F1,F2,etc.] AC ഇല്ല First ClassACക്കും Second Class ACക്കും ഇടയിലാണ് ഇതിന്‍റെ യാത്രാ നിരക്ക്.പുതുതായി ഇറങ്ങുന്ന ട്രെയിനുകള്‍ക്ക് ഈ കോച്ച് ഉണ്ടാവാറില്ല.നിലവില്‍ വളരെ കുറച്ചു ട്രെയിനുകള്‍ക്കു മാത്രമേ First Class ഉള്ളൂ.ബോഗിക്കുള്ളില്‍ തന്നെ മുറി(കൂപ്പ)കള്‍ പോലെയുള്ളതില്‍ 4 പേര്‍ക്കും(family) 2 പേര്‍ക്കും (couple coupe) യാത്ര ചെയ്യാം.സ്വകാര്യതയ്ക്ക് എല്ലാ കൂപ്പയ്ക്കും വാതിലുകളും ഉണ്ടാവും. First Class AC (1A) കോച്ചുകളില്‍ [H1,H2,etc.]  ഇന്ത്യന്‍ റെയില്‍വേയിലെ ഏറ്റവും നിരക്ക് കൂടിയതും Highly Privacy ആയതുമായ കോച്ച്.ഇതിലെ യാത്രാനിരക്ക് അതേ റൂട്ടിലെ വിമാനടിക്കറ്റിന്റെ അടുത്തായിട്ടു വരും.ദീര്‍ഘദൂര ട്രെയിനുകളില്‍ മാത്രം ഈ സംവിധാനം കാണുന്നു.കൂപ്പയില്‍ 2/4 പേര്‍ക്ക്സഞ്ചരിക്കാന്‍ സൌകര്യമുള്ളത്

Second Class (II) കോച്ചുകളില്‍ കാണുന്നത് [UR,II,GS ] AC ഇല്ല   സാധാരണയായി ട്രെയിന്‍ പുറപ്പെടുന്നതിന്‍റെ തൊട്ടു മുമ്പ് അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ 24 മണിക്കൂറിനുള്ളിലായി ടിക്കറ്റ് എടുത്ത് യാത്ര ചെയ്യുന്ന ക്ലാസുകള്‍ക്ക് Second Class,Ordinary Class,Unreserved Class,Chair Car എന്നൊക്കെ പറയുന്നു.ദീര്‍ഘദൂര തീവണ്ടികളുടെ അവസാനത്തെ രണ്ടു ബോഗികളും എഞ്ചിനോട് ചേര്‍ന്ന 90 സീറ്റുകളോടു കൂടിയ രണ്ടു ബോഗികളുമാണ് സെക്കന്ഡ് ക്ലാസ് കമ്പാര്‍ട്ട്മെന്റുകള്‍.എല്ലാ ട്രെയിനുകള്‍ക്കും അവസാനത്തെ ബോഗിയോടു ചേര്‍ന്ന് ഒരു ലേഡീസ് സെക്കന്ഡ് ക്ലാസ് കോച്ചും ഒരു വികലാംഗര്‍ക്കുള്ള കോച്ചും കാണും.ഈ കോച്ചുകളില്‍ മറ്റുള്ളവര്‍ക്കു പ്രവേശനമില്ല.ഹൃസ്വദൂര/പകല്‍വണ്ടികളില്‍ 108 സീറ്റുകളോടു കൂടിയ ചെയര്‍ കാര്‍ (CC) കോച്ചുകളാകും കൂടുതല്‍ ഉണ്ടാവുക.

Railway should consider giving some amount( 10-20% )as refund for comfirned and Tatkal tickets if cancelled before chart preparation time ( 4 hrs before departure) . This will help providing confirmation to those on RAC or upgrading to RAC for WL ticket. If no refund is provided the person may not cancel the ticket and thus another on.the waitlist or RAC cant benefit . Railways can consider recovering the Refund provided from those tickets that are confirmed out of Cancellation. Thus Railway will not lose and RAC / Waitlisted people will bebefit and the Person Cancelling the ticket gets some refund

ചേട്ടാ, ഞാൻ IRCTC യിൽ ആദ്യമായി അക്കൗണ്ട് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയത് 2010ഇൽ ആയിരുന്നു. അന്ന് എന്റെ അച്ഛന്റെ ഫോൺ നമ്പർ ആണ് കൊടുത്തത്. പിന്നീട് ലോഗിൻ ചെയ്യാൻ നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ പാസ്സ്‌വേർഡ്‌ മറന്നു പോയി. കൊറേ കാലങ്ങൾക്ക് ശേഷം ഞാൻ forgot username and password ഓപ്ഷൻ വഴി കയറി മൊബൈൽ നമ്പർ ഒക്കെ ചെയ്ഞ്ച് ചെയ്തു. ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ വീണ്ടും ഞാൻ പാസ്സ്‌വേർഡ്‌ മറന്നു പോയി. പഴയ ഓപ്ഷൻ വഴി മൊബൈലിൽ ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ ഒന്നുകിൽ invalid user അല്ലെങ്കിൽ invalid birthdate എന്നൊക്കെ കാണിക്കുന്നു. ഈ അക്കൗണ്ടിൽ ഞാൻ ആധാർ ലിങ്ക് ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. ഈ അക്കൗണ്ട് എന്തെങ്കിലും ഇമെയിൽ അയച്ചോ മറ്റോ ഡിലീറ്റ് ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റുമോ? ഇനി അഥവാ അക്കൗണ്ട് ഡിലീറ്റ് ചെയ്താലും പിന്നീട് ആ മൊബൈൽ നമ്പറും മെയിൽ ഐഡിയും വെച്ച് വേറൊരു അക്കൗണ്ട് ഉണ്ടാക്കാൻ പറ്റുമോ?
