The best receiver doesn't always get the third down role. It's often the best pass protector. I think that Damien Williams is very likely going to be better in that regard, so I would be surprised if he doesn't get a significant percentage of the 3rd down work...especially without much of an offseason to assess CEH's ability to block.

Clyde will probably start in about a 50-50 split. That’ll probably only last a few weeks before he’s the dominant back. Damian Williams is a product of the system and has a fairly sturdy history of injury. Cam Akers will start but the Rams have lousy run blocking and they haven’t added anyone to fix that in the off-season. At best I see Cam being a mid tier RB2 or a consistent flex with a solid floor. McFarland would be a great late round pick, Connor will get injured like he does every year. McFarland is better than Snell and the other gaggle of bums backing up Connor. He has plenty of upside but his production is going to have a very tight window. Only take him in around the 13th-15th rounds of drafts if you aren’t handcuffing him to Connor.

No, Kelly is not the 2nd string RB on the Chargers. You are assuming a 4th round rookie is already ahead of Jackson who has averaged over 5 ypc in his career?
@Arguing1014 жыл бұрын
If youre a Chargers fan you should know Lynn literally said he wants Ekeler as a complementary back. It was clear that Lynn wants a power back for that 1-2 punch. As much as I love JJ, he is a smaller back and was a handful of picks from being an UDFA. I put my bid in that TT/Lynn would grab a power back in the 3rd/4th and they did just that. It would be of no surprise if Kelley wins his touches sooner rather than later

If possible, I'd trade out the spot and pick up more mid round picks in the 4th - 6th. Normally I'd say Dalvin Cook but his contract situation has me fading him. Pick up more middle picks and try to multiple get high upside guys like David Montgomery, Jonathan Taylor, Calvin Ridley, D.J. Chark, etc.

I honestly don't get the hype for Zack Moss lately. Not saying that he's bad, it's just that everyone forgets that TJ Yeldon is still there as the 2nd string RB lol Just don't feel comfortable picking a 3rd-string rookie RB until very late in the draft (Which Moss will be long gone before then)

Can’t really use that logic though. One busted rookie shouldn’t just throw out all the great seasons we’ve seen from rookie RBs. Especially when the bust had over 260 touches

Ceh gonna let everyone down lol 3rd round adp 🤢🤮. Williams avg 10 carries a game in 11 games, you don't want ur third round rb to possibly avg 10 carries a game and split with other rbs. You want safe and volume. Ceh is fine in the 5th for a risk pick

100% will have a season. Covid is the flu, when did they stop a season bc the flu?
@Ryan-gt6kx4 жыл бұрын
You assume Edwards-Hellaire will start over Williams. You assume Taylor will beat out Mack (and Hines). But you are worried about Akers playing over Darrell Henderson? Henderson was an epic disappointment last season. Henderson couldn't get on the field over Gurley, a guy the Rams just let go. Williams and Mack actually had good seasons and are established players. I'm not understanding the logic here.
@dansbigfanguitarist4 жыл бұрын
The logic is age and overall draft capital. Not saying you’re wrong, but draft capital has a big impact on who starts. David Montgomery was “wayyy better than everyone in Chicago omg” but did he start last year? Did he ever make an impact? With rookie RBs, you put your chips on the highest skill players, who are walking into the best possible situation, as talent, team fit and production COMBINED are more important than anything else. That’s why Malcolm brown cut into Gurleys totes last year, overall production from Gurley was lacking. That’s why David Montgomery wasn’t a stud last year, overall talent was lacking (may change this year but who knows) So if you believe Taylor > Mack and CEH > Williams, and your believe they fit the systems and offenses well, and you believe their teams will be on POSITIVE game scripts, then they will be ranked and drafted highly. Cam Akers is going to compete against a young back, whos backfield might be led by Malcolm brown next year.... and they don’t look like they’ll be in a lot of positive game scripts, which isn’t good for the RB position. The skinny is, no player analysis is 1 dimensional, you have to consider everything.
@kvukasxc6594 жыл бұрын
Can't seem to figure out how to submit a question on your site...so here it is... In a half ppr league that has 1 rb, 2 wr, and 1 flex, does the rb position become more or less valuable? It's also an auction draft btw.
